nufcjb
Is there any chance in the near future they'll make do without the track eventhough right now it has to stay? Or they doing something inovative to lessen the gap between stand and pitch? Fear that Gold and Sullivan will get their way by splashing some cash to people involved with the stadium. Fugazi
They're covering the running track with astroturf, better watch out for them uneven bounces.
U2
They can't leave a massive gap between the tiers behind the goals, Shirley?

sbnufc
They can't leave a massive gap between the tiers behind the goals, Shirley? Plan is (was?) to put some stupid 'sails' in the gap like so: http://i.dailymail.co.uk/i/pix/2015/08/27/13/2BB4F9AA00000578-3212872-image-a-52_1440679527907.jpg God knows what they're doing with it now though. They play the first game tomorrow and the stadium still isnt 100% ready

Dave
That stadium cost £486million to build, then £272million to convert. And you end up with this: http://i.imgur.com/khvxryF.jpg Fucking hell.
r0cafella
New San Mames only cost 173million euros according to Wiki, would have been cheaper to build a purpose built football stadium for the (at the tax payers expense of course )

Ally
How did Man City manage to convert their ground? You'd never think that was an athletics stadium
Dave
The "State of the art" retractable stands at the olympic stadium.. a stand up on breeze blocks Reminder. We wouldn't get away with that for a 10 minute job at work.

sbnufc
I don't understand the big fucking gap there. How/why?! Left = athletics mode Right = football mode red = massive gaps because the "retractable seating" has been moved forwards http://i.imgur.com/evzpYBt.png
Dave
It's ludicrously unsuitable to be a football stadium like.
