Dave
People on that KUMB thread about the Olympic Stadium saying they couldn't hear the ref's whistle.
sbnufc
Pretty sure there arent any restricted view seats in the new Anfield stand btw. I think there were originally, but they cut away a massive chunk of the kop & other end (whatever it's called) roof to prevent it
Guest
The stadium is not for me. No atmosphere. If you think one song of bubbles at the start of each half counts - it doesn't. The ground has no real character and doesn't even remind me of the legacy of the games or anything like that. It is big yes and we have filled it so far, but what have we filled it with? Pop corn stalls, In-fighting in the crowd and day trippers. When the novelty wears off we will be rattling round in there. Also the standing debate is causing carnage as we have seen. Feels like the soul of the club has been sold. The badge change, the ground move, the conflict between fans and board. It's not the West Ham i love. This might be because I am still hurting from last night, but if I had to renew my ST tomorrow I don't think I would. I would more than likely stick to away games and use the ST money elsewhere. Working all week and spending all day on a Saturday away from my little girl is tough but was justified last season. I am hoping to be proven wrong on the about the above but it has not been a good start - I want to go home.

sbnufc
Anfield tunnel is weird. Wouldnt say I liked (well, didnt really have an opinion) the old one, but it was certainly a "characteristic" that's been lost http://i.imgur.com/A0CjLkw.png
nufcjb
Looks a bit like the Wembley tunnel and like that too, definitely has lost a its character. Expect them to drag out the extension tunnel like Old Trafford and Emirates. Love our tunnel entrance though.
NEEJ
San Mames is new, but already getting a makeover. Up to 10,000 seats (that were promised cover) currently get wet from rain, so they're having to extend the roof From: http://i.imgur.com/0eQhIOP.jpg To: http://i.imgur.com/urlvZ5j.png I take it this isn't finished yet then judging by all the Athletic Bilbao fans running for cover before? Those in the new stand will surely not see the opposite corner flag area. http://i.dailymail.co.uk/i/pix/2016/09/08/11/380DBBE200000578-0-image-a-17_1473328914847.jpg
ujpest doza
Have they not done something to correct that by doing something to connect the 2 roof's?
ujpest doza
Think they were going to do the other stand too then got relegated Aye, just looked it up. They planned to demolish the stand on the right and continue the new one along but have put it on hold until they get promoted again.

Sir Toon
That's shocking considering we're in the 21st century unless there's a plan for them to bring the end in line with the new stand by rebuilding it. At first glance I thought it was the kop end unless the photo is inverted somehow.
NG32
terrible, I bet they'll still charge a fairly high price for those seats.
