The walkway is clever though. http://poskok.info/wp/wp-content/uploads/2015/12/Prostorni_prikaz_005.jpg
ponsaelius
Believe the bottom one is only a thesis from the local architecture uni. Not actually being built (yet).
nufcjb
I'm sure I read on the SSN yesterday that Villa were at an early stage of planning to expand Villa Park to 60,000. Why the fuck would they want to do that yet close off the upper tier for two seasons running?

Stifler
I do wonder what use the sliding pitch will be once the NFL contract has finished and the NFL decide to go elsewhere in London.

Guest chopey
Thats a lot of moving parts to go wrong Yeah, bet they haven't thought of that. It just seems massivly over-engineered, whats the point of all the pnumatic pistons moving the touchline up and down

henke
That's awesome, but in my barely informed opinion a complete waste of money. What's wrong with having a permanent grass pitch and laying fieldturf on pallets a couple of times a year?
nufcjb
I'm hoping for either the tunnel ramp or touchline machinery to fuck up and not being on the same level as the pitch.
mrmojorisin75
Wait til some fucker snaps his ankle in the gap between that turf at spurs. Kane hopefully.

huss9
like the moscow stadium - slightly old school classic look to it. far too many ultra-futuristic arena being built.

henke
Hell of a lot of work though to be fair. I'd say it would have been cheaper to flatten it and build a new stadium.

Don't know if they have listed buildings in Russia but it would've criminal to do so. Nowt Vlad can't siphon from his budgets for a vanity project anyway. henke
Yeah they've made an historic stadium better. Odd that I think that as the job is not dissimilar to the modernisation of the Maracana, which I hate.
