Mike
Since then, stand-in head coach John Carver has been included in talks with managing director Lee Charnley and chief scout Graham Carr about the preparations for next season – and is still understood to be in with a shout of winning the job full-time. http://i.imgur.com/Y2vw2Cq.gif
Guest axel
Probably just bullshit, but still  http://www.mirror.co.uk/sport/football/transfer-news/newcastles-pursuit-remi-garde-ended-5794378
DJ_NUFC
I don't know, a manager who has art high on the priority list of life is exactly the kind who would play the game the right way I would be setting up fake art gallereez around the ground just to lure him, filled with poorly drawn imitations of Picasso and Van Gogh by the plethora of crayons at the disposal of Carver and Stoney. Just print loads of the drawings off our football in paint

James
Keegan would have told him that Newcastle is closer to the Louvre than London or something. I doubt it was a defining issue I'm sure if the board were desperate to bag him they could have done an HTT style dossier on golf courses and culture in Newcastle and the surrounding area. morla84
Better trainer shops and a couple of art galleries and we could have won the league within 3 seasons. Sums us up tbh
Big Geordie
Sounds like another bullshit PR story put out by the club, to say that Garde isn't coming. Can see straight through it.

Skeletor
We have the greatest living disasterpiece in John Carver. What more could he want?

LV
Surely they could have pointed him in the direction of the Baltic.. Doubt any of the hierarchy at our club know that exists.

BlueStar
Last time I went to the Baltic pretty much the only thing there was a room with a shed in it. Just a shed. Except you weren't allowed to take pictures of it, like you can with my shed.
maybe_next_year
I'm pretty sure we could of could of convinced him that Newcastle's last few seasons is actually a form of modern art about the horrible side of commercialism in the modern game taking away from the competitiveness from the sport or something. I mean, its more believable than the idea that we're a fully functioning football club.
Mike
It'll be laughs if this guy does really well at his next gig. He's dodged a bullet, tbh.
