This season has not been a good season.

That’s pissed me of no end. A good season? A fucking good season!? You’re having a laugh.

So confirmation that fatty has indeed taken a massive 33m out of the club, we have no ambition and class just above the drop zone as “good” and have no interest whatsoever in upgrading the training facilities. Rafa would be mad to extend on those conditions. If it wasn’t for tv money having gone berserk since Ashley took over he would have seen us in administration a long time ago now. Utter shambles.

Did he loan nufc the 33 million while we waited for the money due from the sales of a few players like Sissoko??  So now he has his money we should be due tv cash and players sales revenue?

So blatantly obvious hes trousering money away left right and centre the snidey devious cunt and his cronies are all complicit in it. Wouldn't surprise me if they are getting hefty bonuses from it too

The sooner this whole lot is investigated and the fat cunt loses everything the better

Glad to read that but a bit frustrating that the point about transfer expenditure is being missed. Charnley says we've spent £111m since we came back up. That needs pulling apart and exposed as the nonsense it is, when no one else in the league factors-in certain costs like we do, just to make it sound like we've spent more.

Transfermarkt has our expenditure on transfer fees at roughly £93/94m over the past two seasons, with incomings of around £57m. Therefore, going by the same rules as everyone else, rather than Charnomatics, it's a net spend of about £37m.

Just bullshit coming out of the club at usual. Thankfully I can't see many falling for it.

Another point, why did we have to take out an overdraft for the Almiron signing if there was still £11m left in the kitty? Why wasn't that used in January too? Probably because, due to the way we divide funds intended for transfers, there was probably about £1-2m of that £11m actually available to contribute to the transfer fee itself.

Probably more to do with cashflow than anything. The kitty will be based on profits I assume but as the TV money (for example) is spread out through the year, the cash for a January transfer might not come in until later in the year.

If LC wants to include the total costs of a player purchase he needs to compare this to the total savings from player sales, transfer fee and saved future salary. Notwithstanding that it is difficult to make true year on year comparisons with the way they put provisions in the 2016/17 accounts I see that the wage bill has fallen considerably from £112m to £93m pa.

In the clubs own words we have a very low wage to turnover ratio (52%) and enough spare cash to pay back MA £33m so there is no excuse for saying we don't have the financial clout to back Rafa going forward.

Also note that LC's pay doubled from £150k to £300k between the two years.

LC is an incompetent little shit. His comments are all spin and all worthless to me. He’s no ability to grow commercial income, no ability to manage the cash flow, no ability to convince Ashley to spend wisely, no ability to lead this club, and overall he’s a worthless fool. The comments about transfers and training ground are so stupid.

MA not investing into facilities is what’s hurting his ability to sell most. I’m shocked he hasn’t figured that out. No wait, not shocked. He’s just not a smart guy. Capex needed in this type of world and he’s not the brain power to see this.

Our poor performance commercialy should have seen Charnley sacked years ago I would like to see ours compared to the likes of Brighton and Burnley

There is no way Ashley put in the figures quoted as loans to the club, no way. There is also some serious money missing from the club over the last few years, hidden in the account under various things.

Also, he’s not owed whatever he paid for the club, he’s owed fuck all, he bought the fucking thing and it’s his like he would buy a car, a house, a holiday.

The lack of even a half arsed investigation/questionining from the local media/journos is staggering. A panorama style investigation into our accounts and the affairs between agents and SD and Ashley’s so-called loans would reveal criminal activity.

Our accounts make little sense when you compare how other teams get transfers done.

Does if you’re trying to plead poverty, don’t want people to see where money goes and to who...

It's entirely by design though. All unsold advertising space is SD's to use for free. Kerching!

Ashley took back £33m in one payment? What the fuck was he going to do with all that anyway?

We stagger payments over 5 years when signing players for half that sum, could he not have taken his money in instalments as well?

We pay upfront don't we? Always have and people see it as a hindrance especially when everyone else does (including buying from ourselves) it in instalments.

Not always - relaxed that a few years ago but usually do.

Even without commercial and match day income we'd be above or on par with WBA, Huddersfield, Swansea, Stoke, and £1m under Watford. The way this club is run, Ashley doesn't need a single bum on any of the seats in the stadium.

That's the case for a lot of clubs given the TV income.

If normal folk operated the way this club does no one would have a house or car. Other clubs pay in installments its just a form of credit why the fuck cant we be the same
