DJ_NUFC
Those quotes, man. I'm dreading Carver's interviews as much as I dreaded Pardew's, but the former is just making me embarrassed in a JFK way, while the latter used to make my blood boil. “He’s also got our analyst (Ben Stevens), who knows our side inside out and back to front. “He also has Andy Woodman here, who’s his best friend. We’re going to ban him from all the team meetings! “He’ll have enough information on us, but at the end of the day it’s all about how we play on the night.” That kid fucking sucked and is shit at his job! Teasy
Pardews the ultimate coward, he'll be pissing his pants for this match and it'll show.
steve_69
Pardews the ultimate coward, he'll be pissing his pants for this match and it'll show. Problem is though, his new team haven't been fully Pardewed yet so they're still playing with a bit of freedom and passion. Our lot have been Pardewed and now Carvered. AyeDubbleYoo
We beat Hull and we should've beaten Stoke, I don't think it's too far to suggest we could beat Palace. Unless Carver self destructs and drops all the fret. Not that I'm confident like, that would be silly.
samptime29
After the poor performance yesterday, not looking forward to this. Maybe a point wouldn't be the worst result.
Ronaldo
Pardews the ultimate coward, he'll be pissing his pants for this match and it'll show. Carver will be too, though. He's such a thick bastard he's probably telling the players he is.
Nobody
Carver would probably love to get beat here as a favour to Pardew. If he bench Cabella I'll be sick.
AyeDubbleYoo
If he benches Cabella I'm never watching football again. I think that's a fair response. I don't think he will though, he's not Pardew.
ED209
Palace will win, Pardew will gloat. Carver will talk some tripe. Par for the course.
Guest Howaythetoon
I don't care much for NUFC, but I will be wanting us to win this one badly as a fuck off to Pardew. If he wins which he probably will the media and self large swathes of Toon fans who thought he was the bees knees will be out in force mocking all those that rightly wanted him gone. I'd rather win this game than the mackem game or any other this season.
sbnufc
Just heard Carver proper laying into Abeid on the radio. "I brought him on for 5 minutes and told him to sit in his place and hold, within 30 seconds he was charging forward and leaving the space open. It's not on" Judging how pissed he sounded, he won't be starting this game
Hanshithispantz
Have you just made that up or did he actually say that? Surely he couldn't have said that?
Hanshithispantz
Looks like he said it yesterday? I completely missed it like, anyone got the quotes?
Guest John Carvery
To be honest that is a clear command.
sbnufc
Have you just made that up or did he actually say that? Surely he couldn't have said that? Why would I make it up Literally just heard it on the radio 5 minutes ago. Was said after the game I think

Why would I make it up Literally just heard it on the radio 5 minutes ago I'm only jesting, I'm just astonished any manager would publicly say that about a player. It's mental. He was on about Cabella chucking the water bottle at the same time too. But everyone knows about that. Not sure why what he said about Abeid has gone unnoticed
Hanshithispantz
2 players who should be guaranteed starters and here's John Carver, the absolute nobody, trying to impose his shit brand of powerplay management on them. After he himself made some of the worst substitutions we've seen all season no less. He's a fucking arsehole.
John P
To be fair that was daft from Abeid, he went charging up the left wing, lost it and was out of position. No need for the public criticism though which carver seems to love.
SEMTEX
I'd be fine with him publicly acknowledging it if asked, but if he was really giving it the big one about how it's "not on" then that is to the max.
AyeDubbleYoo
I thought the Abeid comment was worse TBH.
Hanshithispantz
What he should have said was "Yeah it was probably my fault, I replaced Remy Cabella - our best player at the moment - with the worst player on our books. I apologise wholeheartedly and will tender my resignation ASAP."
