Each to their own and everything but I’m puzzled by the negative reaction tbh. Besides the things you’ve mentioned it’s a clean looking kit. Really like it.

In my opinion, it's the exact opposite of clean looking - the back is completely divided in two, the stripes on the sides don't match up, there's curved panels on the sides, the collar is in two parts and it's got a fake jagged edge to the stripes. Then you've got 'HOWAY THE LADS' written in a nasty font on the back. Add in the unfortunately unavoidable truncated three stripes on the shoulder and the blue details that are always a divisive element among fans and it looks a mess to me personally. For me the last two Castore efforts were clean looking designs.

This one has really got to me, like.  Hate basically everything about it.

It's a bit odd IMO, loads going on. The shadow under the 3 stripes on the shoulders is weird, as is the blurred stripes, all the blue etc. 

 

Some of it might be the photo, could look OK in the flesh. 

 

75% sure I won't be buying it, but I'm not an every season person anyway.

Oof no, was hoping the greyness was just my eyes. Got all the shirts since Howe but think I’ll be leaving that one, unless we win something in it. Will get one of this years away instead.

It's going to be the one that looks better on, especially the front, the back however a big white gap.

 

Forcing many to get number/name which I'm not big on.

 

Long-sleeved will be a nice change.

Ffs, they almost got the socks right like in 95-97. Back then, it was black hoops on a white background bit this is white hoops on a back blackground. So close.
