NUFC kits & merchandise - third kit images leaked pg.874

Recommended Posts

Imagine how good that would look with the NUFC 1980s badge. Not sure why Adidas didn't go for that especially as it would perfectly match the 1970s/80s aesthetic they seem to be going for with the kit design and the promo photos. Also this year's kit set the precedent for doing this.

The badge, and much of the rest, is exactly like this

Just makes me think of Des Hamilton

I like this new one though, very smart.

Do you reckon numbering will be available in orange?

Looks like the only approved lettering colours are white, black, red, navy and yellow :(

Maybe in the CL though :naughty:

I understand that decision even less [emoji38]

No idea how you can make a new kit that is a nod to 2 totally different kits, that seems ridiculous to me

Well I could be wrong but to me the shade of blue and its shine is a nod to 98/99, which also had a very faint striped texture/weave, though it was horizontal in that case. The subtle 'pinstripe' effect could be a nod to that or - heavens above - something original. Meanwhile you've got the badge and the green aspects reflecting 97/98. Obviously the orange is consistent across both.

I think your right although I don't think it's deliberate from adidas.

It has more in common with 98/99 than it does 98/98.
