You're on the right lines here, but not the Uni.

Hmm, maybe if it's not obvious straight away then it's back to the drawing board.

I think you could do a better job referencing the Tyne bridge than adidas have done.

Oh I was miles off then [emoji38]

I preferred your Northumbrian-themed ones tbf - unique, stood out and a clear reference to the historical region

Yeah that one's being submitted as the away kit, this one (or another one I might end up with) is the third.

In terms of referencing buildings, this one had the potential to be a bit of a cult classic were it not associated with arguably the worst period in the club's modern history:

Entering a competition soon with some Newcastle kit designs I've done.

Totally get that there'll be people who think this design is shite,  but just as a disclaimer, the idea with this one is to do something a bit out there and original.

My question to you is this, can you tell from looking at this what Newcastle-associated thing influenced the design/colour scheme (jokes aside). That's all I'm asking. Trying to work out whether it's obvious or I'm reaching a bit.

Is it the bridges over the tyne or something? Tyne Bridge, Swing Bridge, Metro bridge colour schemes?

I just thought green=Saudi  my appologies.

By the way, what or where do you design these kits? Mind sharing? Is it adaptable for beginners?

Smart as a button. A round neck collar would have been the pinnacle though.

Think this is opposite to normal where it looks worse once on the players.

Looks lush there, but the photo of Bruno & Gordon wearing it, the neck just doesn't look like it sits right to me.
