TK-421
Interesting. Does the shitball league allow stripes on the back? The patch may have been just for PL. West Brom don't have a patch for their names & numbers when their shirts have fully striped backs
sbnufc
Could they be selling two types? One which the players will wear, with a shield, which you buy if you want a name/number. Then one with stripes on the back, for no name/number
sbnufc
Had a look for Sheff Utd's new kit (first team that came to mind with stripes ) http://i.imgur.com/80WC868.png Maybe the TV view thing is for Prem only or something edit
Scoot
It's great when a new shirt comes out and everyone just twists about it. Every season, without fail.

GavMcEl
Aha that's probs the nicest Jersey we've had since the 09/10 one !!! Was gonna get RAFA 1 on the back but I'll think I'll leave it now and leave the stripes be lol
krybel
Thats pretty good actually
nufcjb
Well, the no stripes on the back rule was a Premier League rule. I remember Stoke had to explain it to their fans when their new kit came out earlier this summer. So fuck the Prem rules. We're gonna have stripes on the back! Lush Vlad
It's great when a new shirt comes out and everyone just twists about it. Every season, without fail. TBF, almost every season since the 5th place, Northern Rock/Virgin Money. We have a rancid home kit. I've liked some of the aways, mind.

West Brom didn't need a patch with dark stripes, though they had red numbers. http://i.dailymail.co.uk/i/pix/2015/08/23/14/1440335869552_lc_galleryImage_West_Bromwich_Albion_s_En.JPG

The rule starts for this season onwards if i'm not mistaken. Or Stoke just made it up to make their fans accept the no stripes on the back rule. Money making. http://i0.wp.com/footballfashion.org/wordpress/wp-content/uploads/2016/05/west-bromwich-albion-2016-2017-adidas-kit-5.jpg Stoke http://www.stokesentinel.co.uk/images/localworld/ugc-images/276370/Article/images/29237829/14205952-large.jpg Though i don't know why this team has stripes though

SEMTEX
The rule does start this season from what I've read. I'm guessing mackems just put a patch on their players kits.
SEMTEX
You can see through the front and see the stripes clearly at the back. There are stripes on the back of the patched version. That's what made it so much worse. They're a different shade/finish, so it's a patch, but one where you can see the black stripes through it.
Fenham Mag
Relegate them imo. They'll do that themselves.

nufcjb
So the explanation for the batman patch is that we made the shirt with stripes then suddenly we need a patch because the rules state that there should be no stripes on the back? I'm pretty sure that the rule applies to Premier League teams only.
Guest firetotheworks
Ah shit, aside from it looking bongeyed, it's nice like, especially with full stripes coming into the equation. Take away Wonga and it's an immediate purchase.
Toon Hoser
Urgh if it wasn't for that abhorrent sponsor... Decent design, no tacky trim, STRIPES ON THE BACK. Damme! :'(
SEMTEX
The white box around the wonga is obnoxious, and the sides of that box are weird. Why is the box so wide? Other than that it's fine. Especially if the cape was just in the scenario that we were in the good league. Oh and the crest being a patch is wank too, but less of a sin than the rest. They probably had the shirt made with the patch then got relegated - no patch required
