Last time I got this much of an outpouring of emotional support was when my nanna accidentally posted a picture of her growler on Insta because she hadn't been shown how to set her account to private. Same. The shirt thing, not my nanna's growler.
TBG Posted Thursday at 12:38 Share Posted Thursday at 12:38 The shirt just adds fuel to two tier policing. You will literally get locked up for being English and wearing an England shirt in England, but you won't be arrested for wearing a crime against fashion. Decky Posted yesterday at 03:36 Share Posted yesterday at 03:36 Got the long sleeve home top and that black top with the blue and white design on the top. £20.60 all in from DH Gate. All for backing the club but I can't afford to spend the guts of £200 on two t-shirts for fucks sake.

The itchiest collar known to human kind, fabric so cheap and thin that it would be embarrassed by tracing paper, and that absurd shield shaped back panel. Stifler
I bought the SPZL trainers from the club before. Trainers these days cost so much, there is pretty much no price difference between the clubs and a normal pair from Adidas, so I thought fuck it. They seemed to manage a single sleeve for FC Copenhagen as well as a nice looking kit: https://www.adidas.co.uk/fc-copenhagen-2025-2026-fourth-jersey-long-sleeve/KB4526.html Am I also right in thinking that the actual player shirts are just a single sleeve, so the "long sleeve authentic" is, in fact, not authentic? Obviously there are always differences anyway and it's never a 100% player shirt but it's a poor show when they want £125 a shirt

This is our first year with the long sleeved players version.

Aye that's what I mean, I quite fancied the authentic long sleeve version but it looks crap like it does, was looking at it in the shop earlier. Probably doesn't help I find adidas stuff in general fairly ropey in terms of quality for the price either mind, although I could probably say that about most sportswear brands these days. Most of my running gear is adidas, hardly survive more than half a dozen washes and the logos are peeling off.

I guess it's to do with visibility; i.e. making the brand mega visible even on the smallest screens, or at distance. They're properly in your face on close-ups; almost distractingly clear. Huge and super high contrast wherever possible (which explains the choice of vivid blue on ours). You better fucking believe you're looking at an Adidas product, people! Looks like a very deliberate attempt to make the brand dominate every context it's seen in. It's a bit enshittificationy.
