This is unexpected - a couple of Scumderland's retro shirts, that are actually officially available at the club shop, are properly branded Umbro products with the Umbro logo:

As far as I'm aware Umbro arent associated with their current supplier Hummel, so this is most unusual. Strangely, the actual Hummel remake retro shirts don't have Hummel branding though.

Not sure how this is possible, I've only seen it happen in the past with defunct brands such as Bukta (we have a Bukta branded tracksuit). I woukd absolutely love it if our retro Umbro shirts were proper one-for-one remakes with the Umbro logo. Never fancied getting the unbranded ones.

Sunderland don’t have a deal directly with Hummel, it’s all part of their deal with a 3rd party team where supplier based in Spennymoor.

It is the same company who supplied them with Nike branded shirts recently.

I dont think thats right, SAFCs current deal with Hummel is not done through Just Sport like the Nike one was. I believe they are getting bespoke shirts this year which I dont think is possible through Just Sport.

Just seen that Man City's club font was designed by Noel Gallagher and it is just his normal handwriting.

Maybe we could get Nail or Sting to do ours next year.

Sam Fender or Ant and Dec surely, the other two will have enacted their POA's to sign stuff on their behalf’s given they’re that old

Seems Spurs also have properly branded retro jerseys as well from Hummel, Admiral and even Pony!

We should have properly branded Umbro and Asics kit if other teams can.

I guess we aren’t that marketed worldwide then

(I had to google Weston as I’ve never heard of them  ).

In the shops I've been in over here (Norway), we're front right and centre. In the years since we were last with Adidas, you'd struggle to find a single NUFC shirt for sale in any store selling kits.

"Marketed worldwide" doesn't mean they waste product by trying to flog it in areas it won't sell  it's why you don't see Flamengo shirts for sale all over the place even though that club have signed the same elite tier sponsorship agreement with Adidas as we have.
