So if was to sell the spare badges for £150.00 each it effectively means the jacket itself cost nothing.

God I'm so tempted.

Do we think Adidas are just being cheap again and creating the same jacket for each team and just using stick on patches to save themselves the cost of producing each team a high quality item?

"MEAT AND DRINK FOR ANDY COLE!"

"ANDY COLE, AT THE DOUBLE!"

Thames' commentary always sounded to me like it had been added on in the editing suite after the game had been played.

Not that it needs confirming because you can tell anyway, but I did my work experience there and can confirm that all of the commentary was added in post-production.

That "at the double" one has stuck with me for like 30 years like. "Ohhhh, I should say so!" As well. He was unique, you've got to give him that.

Poor old Rog' got an absolute hammering on here 19 years ago. Maintain that that thread is full of bad takes. Bloke's a ledge.

We also need to start putting the Umbro badge on the retro kits - Sunderland can do it so don't know why we can't. Sunderland also do Patrick stuff. Spurs do proper Hummell branded ones as well:

Sunderland aren't sponsored by Umbro and Spurs aren't sponsored by Hummel, so it is definitely possible.

Would absolutely love that last Asics shirt full replica. My first.

How well do the replica shirts for women size up against regular sports t-shirts? Do adidas tend to do a tight or loose fit?

i got an Italy womens shirt as was £7, just as an experiment, fits quite nice, a fair bit of room around the hips! I'm now well on my way to being the NE29 version of ed gein.  Conversely the pin stripe trefoil gender neutral shirt is pretty boxy and i dont really like the fit at all, also got the recent real madrid reissues teka black shirt in the same size (xl) and its absolutely massive so have had to return.

Superb. Some classic comments in there.

"Aye but did he actually commentate, or has he, in 2004 or whenever sat with a video clip and a microphone and pretended to be there? Thats the way it comes across like."

"Met him the other day when I was at work. Was dying to get him to say "and that's a goal from Andy Cole". That phrase is one the best memories of my youth"

"I seen him playing squash at Eldon Rec one time with some remarkably fit bird, and I said "areet", and the baldy c*** ignored me.  All in all a cockney wank as far as I'm concerned."

"His commentary was tedious as well, the amount of times someone used to score and he'd say "Oh that's meat and drink to Mick Quinn/David Kelly/Marco Gabbiadini/Paul Wilkinson/fill in any c*** with a reasonable scoring record"
