Yeah purple's not in the mix at all I don't think.

Away is navy. Haven't seen it but I've seen a prototype of the originals tracksuit for next year that will apparently match it colour-wise.

Hope it's not a remake of the navy and white kit from 2002.

The one we beat Juventus in at home in? My favourite away shirt that along with the black NTL one from 00/01

Personally not ready for the end of the green era. They've still not brought one out that I'm desperate for but it's such a great colour for a football kit imo.

As for the third, I won't bother paying any attention to FH's mockups after the blatantly inaccurate home efforts.

The current green kit is awful and that shade of it can go into the bin forever. Green kits with green pitches never seemed to jive with me

Looking through CFS listings I just cant fathom who is buying those shirts at these prices?

£200 plus for 80s shirts I understand.

But who is paying between £250 and £400 for a bog standard shirt from 91-96?

Then over £100-200 for many tatty examples of shirts from the Daglish, Robson and Souness eras?

Then you have a look in Toon Kit Collector in the Arcade and see really tatty shirts with printing from unloved players costing over £50.

Good examples here:

When are they EVER going to be sold? Should be no more than £25 max

Have always guessed it might be something to do with how, by demonstrating the scale of stock they have, they legitimise themselves as the market leader in that industry. So just having them sat on the website is as much use to them as selling them, as a means of consolidating their reputation.

Then I suppose if you're a customer you're paying for the certainty that buying from CFS gives you.

Was talking to someone who was at the recent filming for the 95/96 away release (said its out January)

Pretty much confirmed what was already leaked/known about what was coming out, but said there's a bunch of new inspired training gear as well coming out that they were really impressed with.

This is over £200 and doesn't even have official printing:

That printing makes it a total no-go for a collector. Official style printing is acceptable but that's never getting sold.

There are so many versions of that kit and printing floating around online for sale. I can’t remember, were there different player name lettering styles at the time? Or is there only one official lettering?

Was only one but it was fairly rare to get the proper one back then. I think the strip was when the premier league had ‘standard’ numbers and it became more common then.
