Some of them responded to it here:

http://consumerist.com/2015/05/20/visa-coca-cola-respond-to-human-rights-concerns-about-qatar-world-cup-not-pulling-out-as-sponsors/

"Coca Cola says it welcomes “constructive dialogue on human rights issues, and we will continue to work with many individuals, human rights organizations, sports groups, government officials and others to develop solutions and foster greater respect for human rights in sports and elsewhere.”

It's f***ing human rights, it's a fundamental right and shouldn't even need to be discussed ffs

Also loved that Blatter "condemned the working conditions" when it was him and his goons who chose f***ing Qatar to host the World Cup in the first place.

In defense of Blatter... He didn't vote for Qatar however Platini of UEFA did.

Ah, okay. Well he's still a c***

Who did he vote for, just out of interest? :)

I agree  USA I believe ironically!

Uefa should form a new version of FIFA in the same way it happens in boxing. Get all the European countries as founding teams and try and get the others involved one at a time. It would only damage FIFA and UEFA have a moral obligation to pull out now considering people are fucking dying.

But the president of UEFA voted for Qatar and stands by that decision, these reptilian fucks don't care about some peasant workers dying in the desert.

 Let's not forget Russia is part of Uefa as well. It's not like UEFA aren't to blame. Platini only wanted the Prince of Jordan there because he's his friend and he'd get his idea through. None of these guys even care about the sport, they're making a big fuzz about it now to increase their powers. Figo should've stayed in the election and he'd probably have been the best option for transparency in the organization, but what UEFA federations were willing to back him? Can't have been many. There's no way UEFA is a great organization either. If I'm not mistaken VI said Spains FA president might be under investigation as well.

Michel Platini would be so much better than Blatter as president of the governing body

A new president, any president, no matter how corrupt pre-presidency, would pretty much be forced to give more transparancy. It's basically "anyone but Blatter", then football might get a teeny tiny bit better. Not in any way healed, but better.

UEFA is a damnable organization, and they are certainly fond of money. I'm lucky to be a fan of a club that has come out on top, but look at the state of European football versus 20 years ago and tell me it's better.

It looks like France voted for Blatter.

FFS.

UEFA will be furious if that's the case.

"For me, between him and Prince Ali, he was our preferred choice. Since we were awarded the 2019 women's World Cup, we have had excellent collaboration with the FIFA administration."

Brazil also voted for Blatter. And I don't see why they wouldn't. He basically gave them $500m from the profits of the World Cup to ''help with development of football in Brazil'' in others words, the development of football in their big houses where money hasn't been earned, but robbed.

I don't see why Spain wouldn't vote for Blatter; they have had each other's backs for a while and Blatter has elected again our president as FIFA vice president.

There was even talk a few years ago that he was being groomed to succeed Blatter.

People are f***ing dying in the hundreds building f***ing football stadiums in the middle of the desert. It boggles the mind how this can be brushed aside so easily with fluff talk.

don't worry according to Richard Keys there have been no deaths its all a massive conspiracy

The whole of football is corrupted, morally, financially and spiritually. from FIFA to UEFA to the FA and clubs like our own.

Warner is definitely going down, he's too thick to keep his mouth shut, unlike Blatter.  From what he's said so far it seems his defence will be "It's OK to take and give bribes as long as the money goes to a good cause."

Maybe he will take Blatter down with him or one of the others arrested will as they will feel a little bit bitter that the ringleader gets off scot free

With 6 pm #FIFA press conf an hour away, let's recap a few things that FIFA have said before they'll presumably say some more:

1 FIFA did, in fact, agree to essentially advance South Africa $10M to pay to Concacaf....

2. The payment was ostensibly for a project that, as far as I can find, has no internet presence (reports, updates, etc) at all.

3. The person that FIFA says signed off on that wire transfer was not actually employed by FIFA, but rather by a confederation.

4. That person, coincidentally, died last year.

5. FIFA also says that its secretary general, along with every other major official, had no idea about the transfer of $10M of its money.

6. FIFA goes on to say that the secretary general doesn't even have power to authorize such a transaction, despite ...

7. ... the FIFA statutes from 2008 listing, under responsibilities of gen sec, oversight of all FIFA accounts.
