KaKa
not a fan of welbeck myself, think we should have a better option That's because Welbeck is shite. 16 in 38 for England.
Mole_Toonfan
I mean there's a bunch of players who are playing tonight who obviously won't start. It's not as if we're going to get injuries or suspensions or players lacking form or anything where you'd need players on their toes like. Well obviously, just saying that if you are concerned about relying on Welbeck then don't be. No idea what your point is. He's in the squad so may as well give him some minutes. Didn't realise he'd actually scored 15 goals for England mind. Eh? i was responding to the above posts about not rating Welbeck. Not against him having minutes, just saying that there a lot of players playing tonight who won't start so don't worry about it.

Stifler
Much better atmosphere with 36,000 at Elland Road than 80,000 at Wembley. Remind me why we need Wembley again?

Guest
Our own Miroslav Klose. Maybe the B-Tec version Klose & Podolski scored more goals between them in the 2010 World Cup than they did in the whole of the 2009/10 domestic season. Makes a mockery of the whole, "pick players on form" line.

WarrenBartonCentrePartin
Just proper reiterated the need for someone like Shelvey, imo. Aye that was our second team, so to speak, and it's a friendly but expected more from Loftus-Cheek when he was in a midfield with Henderson and Delph. He had a real opportunity to try and carry us forward and didn't really take it.

Guest
Hate shit like that man, makes us look bitter as fuck. I've seen plenty of times Shelvey slice or loop balls high in the air where he's mishit it.

Guest firetotheworks
Have to say that I was canny impressed by that performance. The coherence between the players looks a lot better than in previous years, I imagine it'll be about how responsible they are with the things they try against better teams. Rashford looked great and I'd love Loftus-Cheek in our team.

Rashford looked great and I'd love Loftus-Cheek in our team. This is very unpopular but I genuinely think we are going to do better than people think. We look like for the first time in god knows how long that we actually have a team which follows instructions and plays like a team and each player understands their role within the team. Despite the fact we clearly lack talent compared to years gone by.

Guest firetotheworks
The 'keeper and defence was hard to choose because the options are rubbish. The attacking options were hard to choose because the options are all pretty good in their own way.
