SW: “Aside from the playing side, Rafa wanted the training facilities improving.”

The club has discussed this with the manager. There is a shared aim to improve training facilities but in prioritising its needs, the club feels its overall budget is currently better spent on the team.

That bit about at the end of the financial year we intend to pay off short term lending to whom ever it is owed. Does that mean Ashley and if so is that why he told the players he's not selling this season?

I think they said before that if it’s in the minutes as “the club” then it’s Charnley.

Ah right. Just reads like a prepared statement.

Don't really see the point in these meetings, they obviously don't have any concept of how a Premier League football club is supposed to be run. Asking them questions about investing in players and facilities is like talking to a Martian.

"The club stated that it was an oversimplification to talk about a cash position at any particular

point in the season. The cash flow has peaks and troughs through the season and has to be

managed – including periods to ensure the club is not in a negative cash balance – with support

given either by the owner or through an external lender.

Either way, by the end of the financial year we aim to pay back what is owed, in terms of short

term funding, to whomever it is owed. The amount owed to the owner was disclosed in last

accounts and the figure is currently less than that. However the source of funding and level of

funding required for the remainder of the season is not yet finalised, so this position may change."

Why does nobody ever seem to ask why we insist on operating two entirely different methods of buying and selling players that directly impacts the club in such a highly negative way?

The bit about Justin Barnes is fucking ridiculous. They say he doesn't get paid by NUFC as though it's a good thing, but that just means it's even more ridiculous that he's involved with the day to day running of the club.

Oh, and the other day Ashley supposedly told the squad the club isn't being sold.

Good to see we're now going to get paid for all the Sports Direct advertising. Presumably they're going to pay for ten years' worth? Wonder if we're getting it in one lump sum, that would really help the transfer budget.

FUCK OFF YOU LYING CUNTS.

There is now an agreement in place whereby Sports Direct pays for all advertising in the stadium.

Sports Direct is only allocated what the club doesn’t sell and that arrangement can be terminated immediately by the club if another company is willing to pay more on a fair commercial basis.

So we have sold fuck all then?

Not that any self-respecting, progressive brand would want to be advertising at Newcastle.

Can't believe I read all of that. What a load of horseshit. Echo the sentiments of those above; people need to stop attending these. At best they're just filled with meaningless waffle from the club, at worst they're getting a kick out of winding people up with their distorted versions of issues.

I've had a go at the attendees in the past for not asking questions which needed to be - to be fair can't say that this time though which is good - the fans forum will be shutdown soon me thinks especially now that the NUST have stated the minutes are not accurate (hopefully they will state exactly what is inaccurate)and they will site logistical reasons or some other shit
