TRon
I think this looks like a case of Rafa demanding signings, and Ashley saying, you've already got someone here you aren't utilising properly. This whole sell before you buy is geared around Mitro if you ask me. The £15m price tag screams that the club think he is better than Rafa thinks. AyeDubbleYoo
He's pretty much our only saleable player with any value, but getting someone to pay £15m for him is a different matter.
samptime29
Would've liked to see how we would've done with 4-2-3-1 and Perez playing number 10 off Mitro. I will be fuming if Mitro goes out on loan. If we can get a proper fee, than it's Rafa decision, and I accept it, but if it's a loan, then it's an absolute bag of shite. He's obviously never going to be used.
TheHoob
He'll surely play if Joselu/Perez gets injured though. Loaning him out seems mental, no money for a replacement except possibly saving on wages.

The £15m price tag is there because Ashley clearly disagrees with Rafa on his value.
Disco
He'll still be using valuations from his esteemed former colleague G. Carr.

I guess it is the going rate for any human footballer with a pulse now, it's just whether anyone will take a risk on Mitro.

Ketsbaia
We signed him for a similar price, the market has gone crazy since then and he's going to be a World Cup striker. Good player. £15m seems pretty fair.
TRon
Prices are pretty daft now tbh. It's a long time since Ashley was creaming his pants at £35m for Andy Carroll. These days you are talking about £25m for a 30 year old defender from West Brom.
Disco
We'll only get close to £15m if he stays in the UK. It's our market that has gone mad, no other unless the buying team is English. Foreign clubs that would want him simply don't have that sort of money to spend on a relatively proven player.
Dave
Would have thought we could get £8-12m for him.
Guest neesy111
Suspect his wages will be an issue. No doubt we put on something stupid.
hakka
Can't we just sell him to Liverpool for £35m? they're fucking nuts and have money burning a hole in their pocket.
nufcjb
I for one am hoping no one buys him, Joselu gets crocked and Rafa has no option but to play him and he scores a hatrick. Ok. I'm having a bad day at the office.
Infinitely Content
He's a good player, young & a striker. £15 million should not be a problem, any less would be particularly cheap.
mrmojorisin75
people laughing at £15m for mitro, how much did 'boro spend on assombalonga or whoever? was at least £12m wasn't it and he's achieved a fraction of what mitro has so for in his career surely
Zero
15M is fair. If he is still in Anderlecht he would cost much more than 15M.
TRon
Would have thought we could get £8-12m for him. I wonder what sort of striker we could get in return for that sort of money? A fairly shit one I'd have thought.
