Friends Arena  such a gay name for a stadium.

I don't disagree, but there's a good history behind the name.

Swedbank acquired the naming rights to the new stadium in a 153 million kronor (about 20.5 million euro) deal that will last until 2023. While the arena was originally to be known as Swedbank Arena under the deal, Swedbank announced on 28 March 2012 that it would donate its naming rights to Friends, a nonprofit organization against school bullying of which Swedbank is a supporter. As such, the stadium was renamed Friends Arena.

South Shields looking for their 17th straight win today, were 1-0 down after 2 minutes.

... but then won 9-1

How's Julio doing?

Still haven't been to a game

But he's playing regularly, scored one today and his debut was 18 games ago now... so that can't be a complete coincidence.

Just read this in the Sunday Sun. Had no idea what was happening there but good luck to them.

'Back at what's now called Mariner's Park, backed by a millionaire with plans for a 5,000 seater stadium and Conference football, top of Northern League Division Two....and Julio Arca in midfield!'

They got 1,412 yesterday as well.
