Guest
Georgia beat Scotland. If Ireland win tonight and beat Georgia and Scotland lose to Germany we will be 4 points ahead of them The key game is Scotland v Poland. Don't think Ireland will get a point in their last two games (Germany home, Poland away). Scotland finish with Gibraltar.

Wasn't that impressed by Poland last time we played them, don't think getting a draw is beyond the realms of possibility. Not convinced we'll beat Georgia Monday either though after seeing a bit of them today, only beat them with a last minute goal last time as well

Dave
International qualifying is proper dismal like. I know they have to do it for fairness and occasionally a big country will fail to qualify but in general it's pure tedium, all the same teams going through the motions in a series of pathetically uninspiring matches with everyone (including the players) just longing for it to be over with so the real football can start again. Dave
Leicester forward Jamie Vardy will make his full debut in England's Euro 2016 qualifier in San Marino on Saturday, while there will also be starts for Jonjo Shelvey and John Stones. How exciting!

Have you seen the proposed format in the other thread? I just don't think there needs to be as many "competitive" games, it's tedious as fuck and breaks up the season for games nobody gives a shite about. Maybe make the qualifying process a knockout somehow, based on seeding. It's honestly boring as sin like, not one person gives a fuck about any of the games, although the fact Euro 2016 is accommodating 24 teams is giving some countries more interest. Which is nice actually, but not really the point in terms of the convoluted qualifying process.
Deuce
Greece still without a win despite being in a group with the Faroes, Northern Ireland, Finland, Hungary and Romania Good, hope they fail to qualify. They play some of the most dire football around. Edit: and so they have.
Ryan
Nabil Fekir out for 6 months after picking up an injury in a meaningless friendly for France. Lyon will be absolutely foaming.
Trumpet
Watch Russia-Sweden, and the Russians were just different class. Created more chances today than the other 6 games under Capello combined. Amazing decision to sack that fraud, may have saved their campaign. Race is on for 2nd spot in that group now. Started the season brilliantly after last seasons crazy haul of goals and assists. Sure he hit a hartick for Lyon just last week. Lacazette will be sad.
