BlueStar
New manager new players no change Same owner responsible for devaluing the name of the club until there's no pride in playing for it, and bringing in players based on who looks like a bargain who might make us money rather than players we need to solve problems with the squad. Beren
Worst PL result ever after getting beat at home to Blackpool I reckon. Losing 0-3 at home to an awful, awful side. The 0-6 the following week too (not for the margin, but for how easy it was for the opposition).
Ronaldo
Without Suarez too. Abject stuff.
Disco
Oh we've had worse results, meant in terms of opponent. Watford, Blackpool, reading - absolutely nowt clubs. Sheff Utd have a semblance of being a proper club not some twobit outfit from fucking nowhere. Ugh, what a mess.
joeyt
When was the last time we beat all the promoted clubs at home? It probably happened in the 5th season (haven't checked) but I bet it hadn't happened since the SBR days before then

Ronaldo
It'll be 02-03. West Brom, City and Birmingham I think.
Yorkie
It's an absolutely minging result, no question, but Watford look like a reasonable sort of outfit this season. I think they'll stay up. I wouldn't put this defeat alongside Sheff Utd, Blackpool or Reading - all of which were truly abhorrent displays against really rubbish sides. Have all three promoted teams ever stayed in the Premier League before?

Ronaldo
When we finished 5th Blackburn, Bolton and Wolves went down. None were newly promoted so there you go.

TRon
One thing about the defeat yesterday, every single one of the back four was at fault for at least one goal. Janmaat and Haidara for the first one, Colo and Mbemba for the second.
Altamullan
As disappointing as yesterday's result was, without thinking there are 8 results in the premiership era, which are always going to be "worse" to me (8 losses to the Makems 1999-2015--out of 26 meetings, 9 wins, 9 draws). Also, probably worst ever premiership loss for me was "massacring" Man U 0-1 in March 1996. Closely followed by Blackburn away, a few games later (never forgiven Fenton...). There are a couple of relegation games, which were also harder to take.

The explanation: "Nicked the ball five times in midfield via interceptions". That bald nugget isn't well, like.
