He's quick and defensively sound and has played on the left side before so it's not completely foreign. He'd certainly be a better bet than Aarons who is half fit and looks completely lost there. Well since he's naturally a right winger, giving him the chance to attack on his natural side would make sense, would it not? We're playing WBA, not Arsenal or Man City. Our first priority should be attacking the game before anything else. Townsend is only classed as right sided due to his ability to cut inside and shoot from range. Well it was that exact team on Wednesday night with exception of Perez over Mitro and obviously the defensive side. If we play that then I hope you're right but WBA sit back a lot deeper then WHU did so I'm not expecting the space to be available for players to make runs in order for Shelvey to hopefully ping 50 yard balls into them.
