Phillips would be 2nd on our list with less than half of the amount of goals Shearer got. I think he needs a break. The best thing for the mackems, to kick start a full rebuild, they might suffer a bit of short term pain but might be in for long term gain, that's gotta be better then being premier league danglers for eternity.
