peder
Colback is so bad that sometimes he looks like the worst player that have ever been in our colours. The only positives about the bloke are that he was free and it p*ssed the mackems off, other than that there are simply none. I never wanted him, have never liked him (since his '3-0' celebration on the team bus when he was playing for the scum against us) and he has no soul. His ability is questionable at best so I really have no idea as to why we took him on it the first place, other than to wind up the inbreds. I am extremely suprised by that he starts with rafa... greydos
My thoughts: 1) Perez was sluggish, his first touch was awful for him and he didn't have enough strength to hold off defenders when being tackled from behind. Needs to work on finding space between the lines to receive the pass on the half turn if he's going to play as a 10. 2) Colback remains gash. No chance Rafa can improve him. Glad he's banned for 2 games. 3) Shelvey needs to play 10-15 yards further up the pitch. We don't need him dropping deep and playing Mbemba and Lascelles into midfield. We need Wijnaldum who can drop a shoulder and advance 5 yards to take the ball from the centre backs then feed Shelvey to play with Gini then advancing passed him. 4) Lascelles is better than I thought (although he was playing a Championship team, which by all accounts is his level). 5) I cannot believe De Jong held his own in a midfield 2, even if Sunderland were backing off at that stage. I think SDJ's touch and look to pass early are better utilised at no. 10 and he should play there ahead of Perez. If that happens, we need Townsend and Sissoko to offer the threat of a run in behind, like Dyer used to from midfield. 6) Townsend should've stayed on, although Wini's cross was class. 7) We're not dead yet! Collage
Not a good performance. Worrying. Pardew, McClaren and Carver would have lost that 3-0 again, this could be a huge turning point for us. Yeah, the goal was vital. Just saying the performance wasn't good enough.
Interpolic
Re Perez I thought he was poor too but then again he didn't get a moment's peace on the ball. I'd say that Khirkov who was basically man-marking him was MOTM today.

shintonsghost
interesting day, pretty quiet off the field, a couple of slaps but nothing major, they still get an escort of sorts so no chance of major disorder. they look a tricky side to break doon but lack quality to see it out. our play is predictable and lacked belief , Perez is quality but has gone into a shell, Sissoko looked decent at leftback only, Colback is utter shite the rest are much of a muchness. i'd like most given up at half time so anythings a bonus, glad im not a mackem............horrible kunts

Shays Given Tim Flowers
I reckon it's over two years since I celebrated a goal like the old days. Did today. Same, probably about 4-5, but f***ing hell. That was a release. Absolutely this. Proper shouted.

Gallowgate Toon
Watched it back, we actually played better than I initially thought. You could definitely see Mitro had been working on movement in the box, he had much more desire and had some set moves peeling off the defender - got himself some openings against big, physical lads. Shame we were so narrow for stretches. Generally, we were OK defensively but missing key athleticism and resilience. It's hard to take much from the performance because it's such a unique situation. Keeping Townsend fit will be a big help. He was useful until he ran out of legs.

Andy84
Don't feel too downbeat, still a poor result but for once it was us getting a late equaliser. We managed to drag ourselves back into the game and finished stronger which is a positive sign. No-one wanted a draw but I would have taken it half time. If the roles were reversed and we conceded late it would have been gut wrenching.

Kanji
Probably just you man. That goal felt fantastic but thanks to Atkinson stopping a clear counter and a Mitro shoulder barge we'd have had 2 chances when our crowd was roaring.
