Guest neesy111
With Gayle injured we need to bring in Callum Wilson from Bournemouth asap. We haven't got the money to sign him. How do you know? You are getting pretty pathetic with your replies only to my posts. Sad man.

Guest neesy111
People need to consider we pay upfront for our transfer fees, we won't be able to afford 10m+ signings.
BeloEmre
People need to consider we pay upfront for our transfer fees, we won't be able to afford 10m+ signings. We could afford it in the summer so why not now?
Guest neesy111
People need to consider we pay upfront for our transfer fees, we won't be able to afford 10m+ signings. We could afford it in the summer so why not now? Because we still had money in the bank from last few seasons. We've also had to borrow £32m to keep cashflow into the club until end of the season. Our transfer policy in terms how we buy and sell in money terms is weird. We accept transfers in installments (usually how it's done across football) as you gain bigger fees but pay upfront when we buy. This Callum Wilson rumour is a non-starter he's not going to come here when he's still getting his place for Bournemouth.

Leazes_End_Mag
James McCarthy Available for £10m apparently now that Schneiderlin is in. That's the kind of moves we need to be making, that and Townsend, possibly recall Krul and we should be good for the rest of the season. Why would recalling krul be on the agenda at the minute? He's our best keeper, is fit but not getting a game. I'd rather him back here fighting for his place getting game time ready for next season. Sell the Belgium or loan him out. Krul won't be here next season.
Dinho lad
I can't see them getting rid, he seems like a very Allardyce player to me. No, Schlupp is more of an Allardyce player.

triggs
Not sure he'd come at the moment but McCarthy would be a good foil for Shelvey if we get back into the PL IMO

triggs
I think Krul will be back in the summer. Not sure Rafa rates Darlow all that highly and I think Krul is clearly the better keeper of the two

Altamullan
Would love McCarthy here. Weren't we after him before Everton signed him? Don't know but Rafa seemed to really want him pre-season. Doubt that has changed. Everton have one midfielder in and one out on loan, anyone know whether they look comfortable in midfield/don't need McCarthy? Happinesstan
With Gayle injured we need to bring in Callum Wilson from Bournemouth asap. We haven't got the money to sign him. How do you know? Simple mathematics. We made £30M in profit, we sold Sissoko for £30M, they are paying over 5 years, so we have £6M in the bank.

Doubt that has changed. Everton have one midfielder in and one out on loan, anyone know whether they look comfortable in midfield/don't need McCarthy? Tom Davies is starting for them in centre mid at the moment. Certainly looks as if McCarthy is out of favour. Sheyi Ojo was a name mentioned in the Chronicle this morning.
