Our reporter Keith Downie has the latest developments taking place at Newcastle...

“Matt Targett is their number one target right now. They wanted Kenedy as cover for Paul Dummett at left-back but that deal is now off.

“They’re trying to bring Targett in on a season-long loan. Rafa Benitez is busy here at the training ground trying to finalise a few deals right now.”

Why is no one hurling abuse or rocks that sneaky rat?

He's Rafa's mate now. It's Ashley and the bent lawyer you need to be throwing things at.

Nah, ill happily lob rocks at Charnley.

Thumb heed is just there to clean out the toilets man.

Can see that Barnes cunt sitting on Charnley's throne trying to sort out the Targett loan.

If Matt Targett is there number one target on transfer deadline day this lot should just kill themselves.

We're all the most pessimistic cunts on the planet as far as getting new signings go, and yet they're still finding new and inventive ways to leave extreme pessimists surprised and disappointed for having paupers' expectations.

Going into deadline day we absolutely need at least two players, at the absolute bare minimum a striker and a 'keeper.

What do we get? Two of our 'keepers going out on loan, our best striker linked with Fulham, and a very weak link to us taking a Southampton back up left back on loan - but with us baulking at the loan fee.

We really need to move as a full united group of fans, in a majority of agreement that we need to do whatever it takes to get this cancer out of our club because it's getting worse and worse and worse. And with that, so is the self respect and dignity of our club and it's fans ever decreasing expectations.

Looks like Charnley has been sent to the training ground to tell Rafa to head on home, business is done and he needs to switch the lights off to save on electric.
