Finishing second looks to have put us in a much tougher half of the draw. Thus far we've got:

Germany v ?

Italy v Spain

France v ?

England v ? (Portugal, Hungary or Iceland).

Looks like more big hitters to get past than in the Wales half:

Switzerland v Poland

Croatia v ?

Wales v ?

(Portugal, Hungary or Iceland) v (Belgium, Sweden or Ireland).

England again are a misjointed team. The defence is actually OK, nothing spectacular, but the centre-backs are a decent pairing and the full-backs get forward well and have enough pace and energy to defend the flank. Attack is very good too. But that midfield is s***, Dier and Ali aside. Lallana plays for England like he did pre Klopp for Liverpool. I'd play Kane and Vardy up front and play with wingers. Townsend should have went. Rooney and Henderson lack energy and Wilshire is unfit and Milner is bang average. That and Roy's tactics will harm England which is a shame because we have some good players and can cause teams problems.

Not with 4-4-2 and two wingers we won't. Others teams will be able to read us like a book.

Slightly quicker Hleb

Lallana? Aye, very accurate. If he could do the same job as a CM you would be looking at a top class player. Or if he could constantly get on the ball and terrorise teams with his touch, agility, passing and runs. But he's largely ineffective at breaking sides down.

We'll beat France.

Payet might decide it on his own, prem players always seem to do well in knock out rounds v us.

Saying that we could beat anyone with Vardy et al if we use them properly, as their mentality is different from previous England forwards.
