Hanshithispantz
The only chances we created were the Alli one the the half chance for Lallana that was saved. Vardy as well. Aye, keeper only made 2 real saves iirc. Aye. Tbf, I thought Slovakia defended well especially skrtel. Sent from my LG-D855 using Tapatalk deffinitely. Irritated the fuck out of me hearing the commentators claim they were hanging on. They set out to play like that and were comfortable.
LFEE
I think coming 2nd in the group might suite us actually.

Jayson
Im a broken record on this but i just feel Roy doesnt understand the impact of forwards on creativity. He's playing one upfront so we can create with the ball, or he lets Sturridge drop out of the area like today. But that leaves the players outside the box with literally only Kane or Vardy to find? Ofcourse creativity looks poor, you have one guy against 2/3 defenders what kind of magic pass is meant to overcome that?
astraguy
Sack Woy now we might have a chance at the shit tournament
Guest firetotheworks
I think people are going a bit OTT like. This England team hasn't got the talent that say 2006 did, but this team is infinitely more enjoyable to watch imo.
chicago_shearer
We can't avoid France now. If we don't get Portugal next which is dubious penalty land with preening and fake tan thrown in. I don't know who Delle Alli thinks he is but he's do ponderous on the ball in dangerous areas that danger sends him a postcard. If they get as far as France in the QF, fair enough. That might actually be a fun open game to watch. Would prefer that to Germany or Spain. I would actually like to see England go up against a decent side at some point in this tournament. TheInfiniteOdyssey
The small-time English mentality is so so embarrassing. "Created loads of chances" "Had all the ball". 0-0 Get fucked.

Doesn't help that when we attack we're so fucking predictable

ponsaelius
So what results can put Portugal 2nd? Only if both they and Iceland win?
Parky
So what results can put Portugal 2nd? Only if both they and Iceland win? Portugal have looked bad imo and might even lose to Hungary. Ideally we want Iceland (already my second team after their heroics).
Hanshithispantz
Would much prefer Germany than Spain like, I have no idea how we'd ever score against the Spanish.
ponsaelius
Portugal have been shite but you'd absolutely prefer to have any of the other 3 in a last 16 match.
chicago_shearer
So what results can put Portugal 2nd? Only if both they and Iceland win? Looking at the group now it doesn't seem like Portugal finishing 2nd is the most likely result really.
Super Duper Branko Strupar
Portugal have been s**** but you'd absolutely prefer to have any of the other 3 in a last 16 match. Think we'd beat Portugal, like. They're pretty poor. That'd be as far as we'd be going on that side of the draw, though.
Klaus
Ronaldo will be well up for it, probably get a hat-trick.
Guest firetotheworks
I don't know if I can deal with watching a team that I want to win play against a team with Pepe in it like. He should be serving bans for the multiple, shameless times that he's cheated.
Beren
Arrogance continued: England goalkeeper Joe Hart: "We all wanted to finish top but we didn't. We have dominated every corner of the pitch and every Slovakian player will be proud of that result. We are into the next round and nobody will want to play us. I haven't had anything to do in the whole tournament to be honest. We have been playing very well as a team." You had Gareth Bale's freekick to keep out actually, you dandruff free cunt. morgs
England could do with carroll here, no one in that squad to win headers when the oppo sit deep

Wullie
You'd think England players would have the sense not to keep rattling on about how dominant they were given the way Leicester put all their teams (other than obviously Vardy) to the sword by letting the daft cunts have the ball all game and do nowt with it. louistoon
Roy's an idiot. Arrogance has cost us. Whether or not we'd have won without them, dropping our two most creative players for Wiltshere who hasn't played all season and Henderson whose shite is riddiculous. Neither of these players should be at this tournament and to start both against a team who is going to defend for 90 minutes is just incompetence. Taking a gamble when 3 of the best four teams in the competition will in all likelyhoods be on this side of the draw is crazy, and spain are nothing like where they used to be. KaKa
The game was actually a lot more open in the first half, prior to them realising how much of a threat Clyne was on the right. If Roy starts the game with Rooney and Alli in midfield , along with the front three he went with, I'm betting you guys score at least two in the first half. Looking back it was a bad call. Henderson's delivery was really poor at crucial times, and Wilshere didn't seem ready to start a game.
