I think it would be a classy touch for us to do something in his memory when it's their 1st league away game after the incident. Doesnt need to be a full stand tifo, just a show of respect for him would represent us well, and I wouldn't expect that to detract from the build up and atmosphere.

I agree, conversely what we don't need is any memorial spoiled by the odd dickhead who wants to be disrespectful.   The amount of media friends they have means they would bury us.  So no minutes silence

Right, we need a Hank Hill flag with him wearing one of our shirts on it.

In the new season just dropped, Hank likes football after watching it whilst working in Saudi Arabia.

Let’s lay claim to Hank supporting us.

Sorry, but why on earth would we want to do this?

Just a bit of jovial fun from cultural references.

This summers been difficult and everyone is on a downer, just trying to do something to lighten the mood.

Get the Eddie training quote on a flag.

Hank Hill would respect the hell out of Eddie Howe — plain and simple.

Here’s why:

---

🔧 Work Ethic

> “That boy Eddie puts in the work. I tell you what — he don’t cut corners.”

Hank values men who show up early, stay late, and don’t chase gimmicks. Eddie Howe’s intense prep, training discipline, and obsession with improvement? That's Hank’s propane-fuelled dream of a football manager.

---

📐 Fundamentals First

> “You win football matches the same way you sell propane — one good decision at a time.”

Eddie isn’t flashy. No ego. Just basics done right — defending with structure, pressing smart, and improving players. It’s the football version of Hank’s mantra: clean lawn, solid mower, tidy propane tank.

---

🗣️ Calm Authority

> “He’s polite. He’s respectful. And he doesn’t raise his voice like some dang hooligan.”

Eddie leads without ranting. Just like Hank, he believes leadership comes from respect, consistency, and knowing your stuff. None of that “rah-rah” bravado.

---

🧢 Final Verdict from Hank:

> “Eddie Howe is a fine, upstanding man. I’d let him manage Strickland Propane any day.”

Yeah, I was going to pass it on to @LFEE and he can pass it on to a member of your team.
