Looking forward to seeing the goal- sounds like a belter. Two big games coming up especially Curzon next weekend, it seems every time Blyth get within touching distance of safety, they drop down again.

Excellent win for Blyth yesterday - 2-1 v Curzon Ashton. Robbie Dale got both goals. Spartans now level on points with 3rd bottom Curzon.

Not quite- a point behind. With Bradford PA still adrift, the mission for the season is to get 2 more points than Curzon.

Was at Blyth on Saturday. Tense game and it was clear Curzon set up to frustrate Blyth. Two keeper errors led to the first goals for both sides, Robbie Dale put Blyth 2-1 up and then Curzon missed a sitter to level it late on. Blyth deserved the win in a very wind effected game.

Also good to see the 3 NL sides avoid one another in the Vase draw today (though I was very surprised to see Stockton dumped out on Saturday).

Consett v Deal Town / Binfield

Plymouth Parkway v West Auckland Town

Longridge Town v Hebburn Town

766 mile round trip for West Auckland!!

Was at Whickham last night. Aside from the 11 goals scored there was no sign of Shola. It may be that they're waiting until Saturday to sign him..

Apparently it was a load of shite the lad that runs it made it up and spread it around to get more fans in for the match last night. Even the players thought he was signing until they found out it was a lie. Probably why they got absolutely spanked.

Yes.

I still can't believe his rise. He was bang average for Gateshead until Gary Mills took him to one side to ask him what the fuck he was doing with his life.

Charlton met the £2.5m clause but he turned down their contract offer. Bet he walks away for free in the summer and Gateshead get nothing.

Bit of controversy at Spennymoor last night it seems - https://spennymoortownfc.co.uk/2020/01/14/club-statement-altrincham-postponement/.

Makes for interesting reading...

Hadn't been to Spennymoor for a while but went there recently.

What a set up they have. So professional, the stadium looks great and a Premier league club would be proud of their playing surface. They've really come a long way in recent years.

Totally agree - a club destined for the higher levels it seems, they just need to get the thing done on the green patch this season. Been in poor form of late but it would seem that the playoffs will be the way they'll have to go if they want that promotion (barring a Kings Lynn collapse).
