Obligatory @Yorkie shoutout. Title looking like a one horse race now after Barnet battered us in midweek. Couple games in hand but still a big ask at this point. Tragedy that only one goes up because the race for second place is very much on.

Kendal man sent off after 6 mins (should have been a pen as well), took till 78th minute for Whitley to get a winner. Just about keeps some very faint hopes of a play off push alive, but not enough games left and too many of them away in reality. They had a few aways PP’d or something. Was looking the earlier in the week to see when they had some homes coming up I could get along too and surprised to see they only had 3 more. ponsaelius
Yeah most of the postponed fixtures have been away ones I think, not unusual to end up with weird fixture lists like this. If you do pop along to a home game give me a shout as I might be around 👍 On a side note I used this website today, which I've used before for attendances, but never realised how good it was for following lower leagues that aren't on the usual score apps. The way it looks is very deceptive - during the game it had the live scores for NL1 and a live league table: https://www.footballwebpages.co.uk/northern-league-division-one Edited February 22 by ponsaelius

Canny site, that. I hadn’t appreciated how tight it was in The Stan’s league. Hopefully they can keep their recent uptick in form going until the end of the season as they were fucked a few weeks back.
ponsaelius
No idea how it is updated so quickly live given the level of coverage NL1 has. I would perhaps guess it pulls data from the Twitter accounts.

So is it updated directly by club staff? The logistics of it is fascinating to me. The fact it also covers step 6/NL2 is even more impressive. I pondered driving down for the York game yesterday in case they do go up. That way I'd be helping keep my 92 club membership intact. Ended up going down the road to Blue Star for a dull 1-0 win v Penrith. Another time I suppose. As you say, sadly top spot is sliding away but who knows in the play offs. That's NL2 policy anyway; I don't think they're quite at the stage of fining clubs that don't do it in a timely enough manner but if I know my non league bureaucracy, it'll come Edited February 23 by OpenC

They were 2-0 up at the time of the red card around 60 mins as well. Would have been a handy 3 points given how tight it is at the bottom.
Paullow Posted Saturday at 17:38 Share Posted Saturday at 17:38 Consett had a great 3-2 away win at a team down the bottom, but Heaton's decent form came to an abrupt end with a 0-3 defeat. Another cracking win for Spennymoor in the FA Trophy, through to the semi final after a 2-0 away win at Sutton who are in the league above.
Chris L Posted Saturday at 22:02 Share Posted Saturday at 22:02 (edited) Spenny won 2-0 away at Sutton today to move into the semi final of the FA trophy. Huge win for Spenny that. Will play either aldershot, Woking or Rochdale. Edited Saturday at 22:03 by Chris L
jack j Posted Sunday at 08:17 Share Posted Sunday at 08:17 What happened with the Blyth takeover earlier in the season? I seen a few comments saying the new bloke promised the world ? I thought they were just fucked from the previous owners still
Chris L Posted Sunday at 08:50 Share Posted Sunday at 08:50 He promised the world and then vanished leaving things to get worse (don’t know the ins and outs but seems to have fucked up something that was already in a mess) sounds like Raj is doing the same at Hartlepool (which is exactly what he did when he owned Darlington)
