Cracking stuff if they see that out. Thought they were going to collapse when they got stuffed at home to the bottom club and put out of the FA Cup to a team lower down the ladder than them, but 6-0 and now this.

Was at the Blue Star game away v Yarm & Eaglescliffe yesterday. Played at Billingham Towns' ground, Blue Star went 3-0 up before Y & E pulled one back with about 20 mins left. I had to be at a doo last night so left 10 mins from the end to catch an earlier train. After hearing what sounded like muffled cheers i checked my phone and it was 3 each. Incredibly Y & E won it 4-3. A sickener for the Star at the end of a very difficult week. What a game though.

Gateshead 2-0 up away to 4th placed Solihull Moors days after winning 2-0 away to 2nd placed Barnet. Rob Elliot might have a shot at the full-time gig now.

Current top 3 in the 8th tier is Stockton, Hebburn, and Consett, although they have played more games than some and Consett could get passed by a few. Good win for Newton Aycliffe to pull away from the drop zone a bit.

A shame North Shields were demoted, but would be good to get as many teams as possible in this league to give it more of a local feel, more interest, and keep travel times down for the clubs as much as possible.
