Big Geordie
Lee Clark is a melt. Not heard any bad stuff about Phillips.
FCB
Gateshead go top of the table if we win on Tuesday. Mike Williamson has done f**king wonders on a small budget and the smallest team in the league.
Guest
Aye, saw their first game and they were brilliant. Saw their odds were 25/1 for the title but didn’t really have anything to gauge them against to think that was good or not. Regret it now.

Not that it's necessarily a bad idea if they think he's also a good coaching appointment. It's an impressive appointment tbf, as you allude to will be massive in terms of exposure. Fenton should have got a lot more out of them, being the only full timers in the league too. Phillips still a massive rat like.
Disco
Do Shields not sell out all the time anymore? Got to imagine he'll be able to bring in players as favour from any number of clubs given how many places he played/coached. Assuming he doesn't still live up here you'd reckon he'd not be coming unless he is going to be backed.

Amazing levels of support for that level, could easily see them being a National League/League 2 club.
ponsaelius
Yeah they're averaging just a smidge under 2k. Think the ground at the moment holds upwards of 3k so there's still room to get more people through the door though. All their booze and catering is in house I think so they benefit quite a bit from the location - on a metro station but nowhere near any other pubs really - bigger attendances are a multiplier in terms of income. Thiago
Lovely lad is Mike, you'd have been fine. We do need to get more players in though, 3 subs on the bench tonight. Edited January 19, 2022 by FCB

AyeDubbleYoo
My non-league team Bromley won as well, up to 4th in National League. Woodman doing really well although possibly he’ll be poached by Gillingham soon. Edited January 22, 2022 by AyeDubbleYoo

Disco
New contract for Macauley Langstaff for the Heed. Should either help them go up or get them a decent fee if he moves up without them. … and Cedwyn Scott.

Yorkie
Morpeth were two up against York. Results improving for the Minstermen after what surely was the club's nadir a few weeks back, losing 3-0 at home to Bradford Park Avenue. Only the FA Trophy today of course but still good to see.
