Newcastle United 2 - 2 Bristol City - 25/02/17 - Post-match reaction from pg 23

We've been playing absolutely toss for about 2 months now. The first half against Villa was one of the worst halves of football I've ever seen. If we can't keep things tight and nick a goal from a mistake or a piece of skill, we don't seem to have anything. So when the defence starts throwing them in like this - we are really up shit creak.

After the failings of the January window, it was always going to be flip of a coin whether we could scrape automatic promotion IMO.

Darlow having a shocker.

This team/squad is so mentally weak and it's poor that it's not been addressed. It's a hangover from the Pardew days. :(

It's really not, like. Barely any of this lot played under him, for a start.

Why has it not been addressed then? Colback is a prime example - heart the size of a pea and Perez seems to be going the same way.

They're not good enough. Rafa wanted a new CM and AM/winger which presumably would've pushed those two down the pecking order. He was ignored.

This puts massive pressure onus for the three tough games. Now we cannot afford any slip ups

Huddersfield could easily be ahead of us this day next week after that game.

Things will only get better as a frustrated Rithcie gets a yellow in the 2nd half.
