Newcastle Fan
Not sure how good he is at the back still but he's a far better striker than Joelinton

relámpago blanco
We should try him up front against oxford
54
When he's fully fit, think he's our best defender to be honest.
Guest neesy111
When he's fully fit, think he's our best defender to be honest. He is, but he had a horrible xmas period.
Kanji
He looked good in first match but shouldn’t have been playing so many in a row. He was knackered against Leicester and probably played the worst match of his career. But when he’s on, he does look a top player. Read and listened a bunch to the analysis of him and all of it is about his football brain and ability on and off the ball. That while Schar pings balls about with ease, Lejeune is actually the true best on the ball and of it with reading of game etc
STM
I've always had Flo down as our best centre half. Schar close second.
KaKa
Both bench players now though.

huss9
I've always had Flo down as our best centre half. Schar close second. love schar but i think he can only play in a three.
Odear
Schär can get rattled and loses his cool quite easily. Which sometimes it’s good to see the players ready to put up a fight, but not stupid yellow cards. Lejeune is calm and makes the right decision more often than not. He was thrown into the team too quick after his injury. But when he’s up to speed he’s one of our best players. Lascelles, Clark, Schär and Lejeune have all seemed to have gotten used to each other too. It’s good that different combinations at the back can work, as this wasn’t the case last season at times. Kanji
Feel like some matches you need the passing of 1 or both of Schar and Lejeune and sometimes (like the case of the Chelsea home match) having 3 of our no-nonsense defenders (which is a little harsh on Fede who is completely underrated on the ball) playing. sugoinufc
its all good a the back : fernandez, lascelles, clark, schär and flo are all good. Schär and Flo are just a bit out of form atm because of injuries recently. Nothing to worry about imo
xLiaaamx
Schar looked on it when he came on like. Looking for the ball all the time.
Guest
Schar & Lejeune would probably be our best CM pairing at the club.
Kanji
Says something about Schar that he comes on as a sub at Everton and just starts pinging the ball all over the pitch
Guest Cheesy Beans
Joined Alaves on loan all season.
Guest
I still love the aftermath of that equaliser at Everton where everyone runs towards the fans and it’s the goalscorer who’s the one chasing everyone.
STM
Big fan of Flo. Hopefully he can have a good season with Alaves without getting injured. Bruce getting rid of our ball playing centre backs I see.
toon25
Bollocks. Think he’s a great defender.
James
He was great under Rafa. It’s a complete unknown if his body is still able to consistently deliver so it’s a good move for everyone
xLiaaamx
He's yet to play well at all really since the last one and we were carrying too many defenders for 4 at the back really.
Minhosa
Too cultured for Bruce. Needed more grit.
Guest
Aye, that’ll teach him for thinking he’s Beckenbauer.
samptime29
He might be totally finished or this move might be really good for him, and we get him back next season in good form. If we're playing 4 at the back this season, there is a logic to the loan.
