Dave
Seems to have lost his form. Eh? I thought he was very good tonight, certainly better than his other recent matches. Having a player that has the confidence and ability to trap the ball on his chest makes such a massive difference to us.
Menace
Shit loads of misplaced passes today - he's been wank for a while.

Had a very good first half and managed to keep the ball moving despite Burnley’s efforts to turn it into a Championship match.
Guest neesy111
I thought he was very hit and miss tonight. He makes a lot of daft fouls.
JCONA
Thought him and Diame did well in the centre today. Diame in particular had a rare good game

Was average at best imo- he's not found the form he had at the start of the season.
Guest firetotheworks
Looked a lot more composed on the ball than in previous matches. Sometimes he needs to play it a bit more simple, but Diame sterl the sher.
Kasper
Also didn't think he had a very good game today. Can be a lot better from what we've seen.

Kanj
He’s been on the bench / hurt ton recently no?

Twinport53
He's said himself this back problem is the worst injury of his career to date. How about we give him a few more games to get back upto speed before we decide to write him off and flog him to Bilbao.
jimmymag
Always tried to get the ball on the deck and showed some good control, but did overplay on occasion. Confident he'll get back to his best with a run in the team.
Newcastle Fan
I thought him and Diame were quite good, he adds such quality to our midfield, far better than anyone else we have in that position.
Kanj
Hope he starts Sunday too. I’m so over Shelvey lol.
La Parka
Seemed to do OK at number 10. If we persist to hoof it at least it gives us someone challenging it.
AyeDubbleYoo
I thought he helped us when he came on, we desperately need to keep the ball better. I'd be very tempted to drop Gayle, play Perez up front and play all three of the CMs together.

steve_69
It's just depressing when he's not on the pitch. The guy is a class act!
Nattfare
He came on at a difficult moment since we had looked completely toothless all second half already. Had a few mixed touches early on and was constantly under pressure when he had the ball. Thought he did as well as could have been expected at that point. He looks so relaxed on the ball though. He only needs to get used to that he doesn't always have as much time on the ball that he thinks he has. Which I think he was getting the hang of before the injuries started to kick in which has set him back a bit on that. But all in all I'm impressed over how well he has managed the pace, despite coming from a different league and not being that experienced yet. Infinitely Content
Love how comfortable he is at controlling the ball on his chest My favourite thing about him. He's not phased at all by operating in tight spaces either, such a calming influence to have in the side.
Pilko
Pathetic today like. Weak as water in the challenge. Such a shame, he's really regressed from that early season class form.
