Likelylad
Solanke's a decent player and I think he fits their system more then Toney. Edited August 9, 2024 by Likelylad

GeordieDazzler
Didn’t they agree a fee for him ages ago but he was desperately hanging on for Juve?
SUPERTOON
Going to be an exciting/interesting battle for top 6 this season. Every club strengthening well imo. Hopefully we manage to as well.

Maybe we didn’t want to take a chance on someone whose heart was set on Juventus and didn’t buy into our project. He may also just didn’t want to join us. Neither anything to do with rating him or not.

JP
Seen a lot of plaudits for West Ham's business and whilst they're strengthening i'd still rather; Gordon > Summerville Isak > Fullkrug Guehi > Todibo We have an excellent first 11 - more so if we get Guehi and a RW which in turn would strength the squad. Plenty to be confident about this season

Geogaddi
We don't need to be concerned about West Ham, they have a max ceiling of about 8th/9th now that ourselves and Villa have overtaken them .
alexf
That's a bit arrogant. Couple of good signings and new manager can turn any teams fortunes around. As we well know when Eddie came in here. Perhaps these signings won't kick them on any further, or perhaps they will hit the ground running and have a great season.

Yorkie
West Ham have upgraded what's in the dugout as well as what's on the pitch. They'll be good this season.
TheBrownBottle
Just now, Geogaddi said: I think we will have gone backwards massively even on last season if West Ham manage to overtake us . Villa overtook us last season. In fact West Ham were as close to us as we were to Villa. There’s no reason at all that a side making good signings couldn’t jump a few places. They’ve got a higher turnover than Villa, and aren’t all that far behind us on that front, either. Absolutely nothing is set in stone.
