You answered it yourself earlier, nobody pays like Man Utd. Mbeumo could probably get 300kpw/16m a year out of them, and 150kpw out of anyone else. Hard to say no to those numbers. But I'm very wary of Delap. I know he's cheap, but he's also young and feel like we need someone with experience to lead the line. The pressure to be the main man crippled Hojlund this year. lovejoy
I like Delap, and he’s young and cheap at £30m. but he’s got an awful lot to do I think. 12 goals this season is decent but he didn’t exactly set the championship alight last season. Still think he’s a good punt at £30m, but being Man Utd’s main man is a massive ask imo.
Checko
Do wonder if Delap is gonna be the next big thing or if he's just Kevin Davis Mk II. Cunha seems a good signing for Man U. Mbeumo would be too. Edited 15 hours ago by Checko
Ben
Cunha Delap Mbeumo is a great front three, would probably cost £150 million though. *Cunha spellchecks as unhappy *
wong989
It seems as though Man United have had a free run at Cunha which is mental, he's so decisive and takes responsibility for attacks like few others in the league. Delap I think is a good signing for 30 mil, but he's not amazing technically... his decision making will improve, well thats debateable if he goes to Manchester, don't know how much better technically he'll get. As for us being linked with DCL, but people saying Vardy would be ridiculous. Vardy all day. Great striker, DCL never showed he was a great striker. Vardy has every kind of finishing and his intelligence is unbelievable...and he's a winner, a leader. No brainer for me if we aren't spending real money on an out and out striker. Ginola14
most players nowadays I'm pretty sure will choose whichever PL club offers the best payday, it's that simple sadly MU can still blow most clubs out of the water on that front Edited 14 hours ago by Ginola14

He's a top 4 player for me that wouldn't look out of place at any of the top teams. So feels bit of a shame he's going to Man U. Just proves once again that it doesn't matter how shit they are, they will always be able to spend and attract. He’s a flaky personality, joining a side that’s on the down. It’ll end in a disaster. Want Rashford out for his attitude, signing someone with a poorer attitude because his output has been good in Prem.

They can blow pretty much anyone out the water with wages, so eventually they will get it right and end up near the top again. Unfortunately we have to be careful with every signing we make due to PRS and will never be allowed to pay the wages they can so are at a massive disadvantage. alexf
The club that claimed they were at risk of running out of money unless they scrapped free lunches for staff etc. About to spend over £200m on new players atleast + £2billion on a new stadium.

KingArthur
To be honest, ManU have quite a thin squad and if they sell someone (apart from Anthony or Rashford, neither will fetch a big fee though), most likely they need to be replaced. Midfield is paper thin and Eriksen leaving, Casemiro is being pushed out by fans etc. Top6 is too much to ask next season, especially if they get to Europe. He's been one of our best players since Amorim came in, and is probably the second name on the team sheet after Fernandes. The extra protection offered to the midfield by Ugarte has allowed him to focus on what he's good at. We're all aware his wages are mental, but 99% of fans want him to stay now until his contract ends. He's been a different player since Ten Hag left, not to mention that he's a serial winner. Rashford, Sancho, Eriksen, Lindelof, Evans and Heaton will almost certainly leave. Antony I wouldn't mind getting another crack to be honest, but don't mind if he's sold either and his performances in Spain will have boosted his value. It's well over a million in wages saved when they leave though. Alvaro Carreras looks likely to sign for Madrid as well, and we've put a huge sell-on clause in the contract when he was sold to Benfica. Should be another decent uplift there,

Should be another decent uplift there, Casemiro doesn't have the legs. He has done ok in UEL games where tempo is lower. Year left on his deal, not going to get a new one so leaving on a free after next season. He is not an answer to anything. If he leaves on a free, you pay him huge wage for a year and get no fee + you pretty much have to play him with that wage. The thing is you have been crap since Amorim started and he is your best player after Fernandes doesn't tell a thing. Except the team has been crap. You need GK, right wing back, at least 2 midfielders, and a new forward line. Carreras gives you max around 25 million. Decent money, but if you lose to Spurs somehow you are in trouble. Had to check: Casemiro has played a part in 3 Premierleague wins since Amorim came. Wins against Leicester, Ipswich and Everton. He hasn't done OK in UEL games, he has been brilliant. Give the man credit where it's due. We're in the final and he's been a huge reason for that. If we lose to Spurs and still want to revamp the squad, we'll likely sell one of Mainoo or Garnacho to do it. Any fee for Rashford is pure profit as well. A good summer of sales and we will be able to spend a lot.

He is a "serial winner" and 300k a week player, who seems to be doing fine/great/ok in a second tier European competition. Good for you! He has been run around in the EPL again this season. Problem is Mainoo has to be replaced and he hasn't had a strong season. Garnacho has to be replaced, and he hasn't had a strong season. Selling them now would be idiotic. No one takes Rashford with his wages, maybe on loan. Anthony you probably cannot sell for PSR profit. For you succeed next season, Amorim has to be able to get more out of players like Mount, Garnacho, Onana, De Ligt etc. These are expensive players that you cannot really sell. Like I said, top6 next season is not realistic. Top 10 is realistic. I am willing to take a bet on this.
