UncleBingo
Are you trying to tell me that even with 18m to spend there wasn't better options for 3..players than Manquillo,Joselu and Merino We had Mbemba and Hanley as cb cover neither are any worse than Lejeune,,,,so there is 7m wasted We had Darryl Murphy who is no worse than Joselu,,,,theres 5m wasted you don't go and blow your budget on bodies just for the sake of filling a hole You use commas for ellipses, think Lejeune cost 7mil and spell Daryl with a double R. Do you have a Sunderland post code? How much did Lejeune cost then?. No I don't have a Sunderland postcode heaven forbid anyone that even challenges or questions anything that happens with our club is branded a Mackem by some kid who cant see through the black and white glasses Looka the bigger picture here love Rafa all you like, praise him all you like the cold hard truth is hes taking us down and will be deemed a failure when he does so You telling people to look at the bigger picture? Sorry for calling you a knob man, easily one of the posters I respect most on here. Just thought we would show more today and needed to as well. Unless we can get some really top players in in Jan I fear it’s all too late even with a takeover. Pissed off with Rafa, but it is what it is and we go again with Stoke up next. Hanshithispantz
Nobody said the Man City game was a tactical masterstroke fwiw That bit of japes seems to be creeping in quite a bit. In which they won a CL, got to another final, another semi final, won the FA Cup, challenged for the PL title in a season in which they went 38 games with only 2 defeats? His Napoli signings are the main reason why they are where they are in Serie A.

Kanj
I hated his game plan today, felt the team selection was probably the right players - did not expect to see nearly every single player in attack trip over their own feet, fail to control passes, make passes, make tackles, make runs into space, shoot when they should have passed, crossed when they should have dribbled etc. I'm just praying signings will fix this squad, we're not going to do much better with the current crop.
