Super Duper Branko Strupar
The long goodbye is nearly over. It's gonna be weird having zero interest in NUFC, Rafa was the only thing that kept me hanging on. What's the current list of absolute scrap heap knackers looking like these days? Sam Allardyce David Moyes Tony Pulis (soon) Mark Hughes Alan Pardew Gary Rowett Gus Poyet Darren Moore Tim Sherwood if we're quick. I forgot about the managerial heavy weight of Tim Sherwood. Updated with an addition of my own: Sam Allardyce David Moyes Tony Pulis (soon) Mark Hughes Alan Pardew Gary Rowett Gus Poyet Darren Moore Tim Sherwood Dennis Wise Paul Lambert (probably available soon too) It's the end of the world as we know it. Very good. Guest Howaythetoon
My mate who supports Liverpool reckons Rodgers will be in for Sturridge, I could see Leicester looking to cash in on Vardy if that happens. Obviously because of the photo of him and his lass partying with Ashley and Wise it’s a bit of a stretch to think 2 and 2 means... but it wouldn’t surprise me if we are at least linked with him for 25m or so. Ironically I think he’d work brilliantly in Rafa’s system, dunno how old he is these days mind. One thing that makes me certain Rafa is going, is our pre-season trip to China, has the clubs stamp all over that and not Rafas. He hated Liverpool going far flung places even before Gillet and co took over. I think that is an open slap in the face to him. Almiron only come in because he fits the profile anyway and we didn’t exactly buy him up front straight, they wanted to wait until the summer, but didn’t want to lose Rafa in January. Think Sissoko and co being bought in early to fend of relegation. He’s off IMO, he’d be a mug if he stayed. He's 32, older than Rondon who we will only pay £12m max for. This has zero chance. I’m pretty sure the club wouldn’t even be happy to pay half that for Rondon, preferring Rafa to spend that kind of sum on someone 25 or younger like Joselu instead for example. The fact we chose to sign him on loan only proves where not only their true intentions lie, but their utter incompatibility as an owner and MD not even incompetency can be used to excuse or explain. Kanj
MA doesn't learn lessons, if he did he'd have sold us long ago and ran away with whatever he could or he would have supported the club properly and helped raise the profile of SD.
Happinesstan
MA doesn't learn lessons, if he did he'd have sold us long ago and ran away with whatever he could or he would have supported the club properly and helped raise the profile of SD. He's learned that it doesn't matter how much of a cunt he is, there will always be enough people who simply cannot afford the cost of sporting equipment that is essential to the development of their children, and will come humbly, cap in hand to his door. r0cafella
This is exactly what the club should be, a beacon for the local community a symbol of hope. Every now and again we get glimpses of what we can be...
NG32
This is exactly what the club should be, a beacon for the local community a symbol of hope. Every now and again we get glimpses of what we can be... Ashley missed a trick, NUFC could have been leading the local community and the area with activities for the public and fans. Helping where it can...the flip side for fat man would be building a future fan base and people buying more merch. Never mind.

Tribesman
The fact he hasn't been given an answer or the club not even trying to meet him halfway shows he is leaving at the end of the season.
Bimpy474
What a disrespectful was to treat such a gentleman, you have can all the money in the world, own half the high street and think you're a national hero, you sure can't buy class and manners. What a 100% classless, ignorant, arrogant, pathetic petty little man Ashley is.
geordie john
If I went to my boss and asked him some serious questions about my future and he completely ignored me for a week, I'd start throwing my CV around with intent. I am constantly amazed by two things: 1. Rafas incredibly loyalty, decency, commitment, football brain and intelligence in the face of almost overwhelming odds 2. Just how much of an utter, total, complete piece of ignorant, rude, crass, thick shit our owner is. This is ending, like so much that cunt touches, in - once again - tears. I ache for what our club was and what it could so easily be again.

Guest chopey
I think Ashley will be all in with the selling part of that system, but I think he would rather buy Bolton for £2.50 and rape the club.
Disco
I suspect Mick and Lee know not who any of the people referenced in that article are and the only Napoli they know is the pizza shop in Washy.
tmonkey
Absolutely disgusting that the manager has to sell this to the owner of a football club. "Come on Mr Ashley, please let me try to make the club successful, please". I bet the fact that Ashley has gotten NUFC relegated twice, and nearly relegated several times more, proving factually that his methods/policies/vision are utter shit, simply doesn't register in his tiny little brain. All someone elses fault.
