Various: Mike Ashley in talks with Sheikh Khaled bin Zayed Al Nehayan

Hopefully she’s still interested in buying us.

Since Tuesday night there have been loads of people who have turned on her, mostl probably out of hurt. It’s only fair that she has her own say.

I think it's more likely she feels free to speak now that Ashley has basically told her to do one.

"Big read on that potential takeover and plans for the club."

Is that an indicator that there's still life or is it clutching at straws?

I'll go with both, keeps the spirit up somewhat.

Aye. Need some spirit ahead of that stupid football match on Saturday.

Saturday, now there's where i have no hope or spirit at all

It's not so bad if you lower your expectations a bit. If we can string together a nice move finishing with a strike that produces a save that'll do me.

Pleased she's saying her piece probably a load of s**** tho

Sooner believe her than Ashley and his cronies. Always remember:

"The club admitted to the Tribunal that it repeatedly and intentionally misled the press, public and fans of Newcastle United."

It'll be very interesting to see what she has to say. It absolutely doesn't mean the takeover is back on though. I'm resigned to Ashley being here for the foreseeable future tbh. Nobody will offer near the money he wants, so he'll just keep it.

I want to read what she says. I’m not expecting it to mean the takeover is still possible, but I hold out hope.

It's a sad state of affairs when you think 'hey i'd take a 2-0 defeat'  :anguish: but that's where i am right now.

I see it more of both sides burning their bridges. Ashley waded in first, and Staveley now sticking the knife back in by revealing what her dreams and plans would have been.
