Sky just wouldn't highlight the fans holding them

If everyone did it they would have no choice. Not sure BT would be too worried about his feelings though.

 If it's a converted enough effort what are they going to do, just not cut to the crowd for the whole ninety minutes?

Think it’s a cracking idea if everyone did it A4 folded in their pockets and held up especially in the front rows then sky got no choice but to show it. DW Sports ones will piss him off big time and  make a point. Will it happen no far too many sheep in the crowd unfortunately but the idea is a cracking one

So the latest spin from the war room is that Mike is “withholding all transfer funds because if Rafa is leaving, he doesn’t want to spend money on players the next manager might not want”.

?

Justin Barnes, Lee Charnley and Mike Ashley, oh and will throw Wendy Taylor in there too, you complete set of gee bags. Just fuck off.

Even the biggest imbeciles in our fan base have copped on to this bullshit long ago.

Nobody is listening any more, no one believes..

Good idea tbf but it needs to be done on a huge scale. And in parts of the ground that are always on camera; lower part of the East Stand, lower parts and corners of the Leazes and Gallowgate ends.

Good luck with that.

You're right though. All the visible spots from the main camera need to be targeted.

I think it's the best way to go; attacks against him personally has done nowt so far but attacks against SD might, as garnering exposure for it is why he bought the club. The image below is from Man United at home under McClaren when we drew 3-3. It went around the middle of the Gallowgate midway through the first half for about 45 seconds before the people displaying it were ejected by stewards. A huge lambasting of SD on a stadium wide scale would be more effective, about 30k displaying anti SD placards or something would be good as stewards won't be ejecting 30k fans from the ground.

I'm in block L of the East Stand with my dad, though me and him would take part in something like that although it's not in the right part of the ground, did with SackPardew for the Hull game and took part in the boycott(s) towards the end of 14/15 and so did some of the lads around us. So there are some conscious people in the East Stand despite it's reputation.

If people conceal said printouts well enough to not get them confiscated that's a pretty cracking idea tbf. If people were prepared to do it week in week out he'd pop a vein, the thin-skinned fuck.

Takes one person to be found out (inevitable) and it'll spread round the stewards and everyone will be searched more, though

Like the idea, although the thought of giving Dave Whelan free advertising is ugh. But, we gotta do what we gotta do.

I know that the above FB post was pushing advertising Whelan's company, but it could just be anti SD stuff.

Do stewards have the right to take a piece of paper off you?

Took SackPardew leaflets off of fans iirc. National Socialist Newcastle United.

Imagine if he was in charge of a club in Italy ffs, he'd be hunted down and decapitated with his headless body paraded around the streets.

Wouldn't last 5 minutes in Italy to be honest he'd have been killed a long time ago

As I said before it is a great idea and would be an ideal and easy way of putting immense pressure on him. It needs to be done on mass though and especially in the lower parts of the ground which can’t be cut out by the caneras. The key is mass though and as usual that’s where it will fall down.

While I agree with the idea about putting pressure on SD...not sure the average match goer will be that pumped up about protesting against Sports Direct. A simple Ashley Out is probably an easier approach.

Well if they don’t realise that just does fuck all and he would be laughing his arse of at that they’re either thick or as I said sheep. Ashley Out has fuck all effect and never will.

Not sure how it would be effective at all personally, I mean sure it would make a great story, a great video but other than that I don’t see how it would further the cause of getting him out.

The club is a business which Ashley owns so he goes when said business is sold or liquidated.

So we either need to find a buyer who will pay whatever asking price he sets OR we need the club to be devalued massively to the point he can’t wait to get shut of it.

It would certainly have an impact. As it did last time when there were 20,000 empty seats (despite the club declaring an almost full house).

This is the only way to achieve progress. How people think going to every match will get us what we want is a disaster.

It'd be different if we had an Ultras end like they do in other Euro countries and then there could be moves to get each game abandoned etc, but that is not even worth talking about as it isn't reality.

Fuck all of this.

I’m not critiquing anybody personally I’m just pointing out that the protests haven’t worked. I mean he spent money once but if the goal is to get rid of him I’m not sure how him spending money equates to achieving the goal of getting rid of him.

My post wasn’t a criticism either all I’m doing personally is making sure he never gets a penny out of me ever (which is of course easy being in Singapore).

The purpose of this post is to merely point out that if the goal is to get rid of him action which affects either the share price of his companies or affects him personally (protesting outside of his house) might be more effective.
