I see he was there again yesterday, he didn't look as chippa as previous visits

and got an easy ride i was told, yet again, i'm beginning to think we will put up with anything he does.

sad club, and going only one way, down and out, i feel this is the start to EVERYTHING crumbling and we could slip through the leagues and still this wanker will be around .

sad times  :'(

Yep it all has a Sunderland feel about it other than we don't have loads of empty seats yet, if we ever will

He wouldn’t stick around like; he’s tear his way out trailing the guts and viscera of all good that’s left but he wouldn’t waste his time with the main reason gone.

He's already planning for the promotion push next season under some has been manager. The only way he'll sell is if we stay down there for a couple of years or three. Got to be prepared for the long haul if we are looking at an end game.

The problem is its not like we can force the club to stay down to get rid of him. He plays the market, pockets the TV money so the club can afford to blow other championship clubs out of the water. We get huge press coverage and tv games alot down there so SD still gets some advertising. We already know Gayle will just be brought back, Murphy got double figures down there at Norwich, Ritchie did here. There can't be a long haul slog because the club is ran in a way that allows it just bounce back between leagues.

That is how I see it in a nutshell. Even if we go down, he'll stay because he'll fancy we can come back up with a better squad than the rest down there. It would take a really shit managerial appointment to keep us down.

Can't believe he can sit there with next to no chanting against him like, people actually do just sit in silence all game.

'Spectators' in the main - not supporters. Many hardcore supporters rapped in long ago.

Yea, but the away fans this season have been chanting against him, so those people are surely at the home games aswell, too spread about the ground i suppose, i still can't believe the lack of anger though.

That’s not sustainable. Partly relied on having two very good coaches. Stick a StevemcCarvdew type in and it’s an unsustainable gamble.

Chris Hughton wasn't exactly anything out of this world like. As nice a guy as he is, he wasn't a tactical revolutionary. He didn't  galvanise us like Benitez did through words and feelings. We simply had better players than other teams in that league, beat them and then that momentum never stopped.

I’m not saying he was. But he’s proven himself able to get teams out of that league. Same as Rafa. Wasn’t being like for like.

I wasn't trying to talk Hughton down so much, more just illustrate the point that while he won't get another Rafa, getting another manager who won't be toxic is entirely possible. I hope it backfires for him, and he loses everything, and has to sell us while we're midtable down there, ready to immediately challenge to get back under a new owner, but I can unfortunately see Ashley's new game of bounce back and not even try to survive working for him.

He’s well and truly taken the life out of the club and sadly the supporters too.

There was a time when the noise would be there from the get go and would drive the team on.

It’s the opposite now. Total graveyard unless everything is going our way.

I’m reaching a point where I’m wondering if it’s worth it. This club isn’t good for the aul mental health. Having something to look forward to is so important in life and aside from wishing death on someone, there’s nothing at all we can look forward to with this club.

If a person made you feel any of the emotions we feel on a weekly basis, you’d cut them out of your life fairly quickly. Why not the club?

Because you can always find someone else. In football it’s NUFC or nobody.

they would be hounding this cunt out at liverpool, manure, and even west ham.

We would have 15/20 years ago. Our fan base has changed so much. Staggering how he can sit there unchallenged after all he's done. Staggering until you remember the type of fan who goes nowadays

I'm not so sure and this is why i'm so apathetic.

I'm sorry, a serious club of our size gets him out by now.

Not true.

While I agree we've had superior squads in our Championship seasons. We've also had superior coaches.

Hughton would be one of the best managers in the Championship today still. Obviously, same applies to Rafa.

I think Bruce is a good Championship manager and I reckon we'll struggle with him at the helm.

Next time we go down, i'm certain we stay down.

Exactly. Wouldn’t nobody be better for the soul than putting up with this crap.

I will definitely reach a point where enough is enough. All that’s keeping me going is the slimmest possibility that either the club will be sold suddenly or else that vile cunt will get bowel cancer or a sudden heart attack.

This club stopped being fun a long time ago.

I wonder if there are major issues with financial regulations with the running of the club, I don't for one minute think that Ashley got where he is today by acting in a professional manor. I don't believe for one second that our running costs are anything like what gets reported, money is going missing from the club so perhaps this is the reason Ashley can't sell
