SteV
If we get anywhere near £8m for him it’s an absolute pisstake and would be worthy of investigation given his age and contract.

Burnley fans I have spoken to said he is a great shot-stopper, good with his feet but poor command of his area and flaps at crosses / corners. Superior Acuña
I’m totally over him going to ManU. He’s been here for seven years and that was a few years ago now. It wasn’t great but I understand him wanting to go to ManU. He’d lost his place after that great run - obviously going to hurt. He’s got the chance to play for what will be a massive club to him AND he was expecting more game time. We didn’t have to allow it.

I’ve only seen a very limited amount of him, and he certainly doesn’t appear to command his box particularly well - BUT - they’ve conceded 9 goals in 26 games in a very competitive league. If it was as much of an issue as being made out, surely all the other teams would have targeted him in this respect and it would have led to more goals? It was last season I heard that though, and that element of his game it likely to improve with experience. Edited January 5 by Jackie Broon

It’s still and issue, not sure if teams have been poor at taking advantage but he isn’t good from crosses at all.

I haven’t seen enough of him to comment really, it just feels if he was that bad other teams would have been able to exploit it more than to the point of 9 goals in 26 games. M1tche
I've just asked a Burnely supporting mate about him and the link. Below is his exact response: "Flapper Trafford? Nothing seen other than paper talk." Make of that what you will
Lush Vlad
I’m sure he’ll get lots of support on here then. Pope punches one miles clear under pressure at a corner and it’s always CATCH IT FFS MAN. Flapper Trafford
andycap
He's still learning but I see a lot of positives in his game and he will only get better. Shot stopping, distribution, good hands good off both feet. His coming for crosses can be worked on same as his sweeper keeping.
Holloway
I haven't seen that much of Trafford, but if he is flappy as more than a few have pointed out, should we be targeting a keeper with a glaring weakness, we already have two of those vying for the no 1 spot

London Mag
Rather spend that sort of dough on Ramsdale when Southampton get relegated

andycap
I reckon he will be and learn on the job. Let's judge him behind a good defence for once.

80
Dubravka deserves plenty of credit for the latest run, it's night and day compared with last season and has been a rebirth for him. But people are going way over the top attributing our improved form to his presence. If we melt as soon as Pope gets back in, without an injury to Tonali etc, we can re-discuss it. buzza
Has played well last few games and his passes over the top of the press to the full backs or wingers has given us another dimension. I didn't like his traitor-like actions when he went to manure, but he has given his best since coming back. Will hold no grudges and deserves a good send off
