Awful scenes from both teams and home supporters.

More explanation here. https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/51690403

It's a bit staggering really, when you've got examples across the continent of teams playing on despite racial abuse from the stands; a banner unfurled with a message on it against one individual (presumably motivated only by football related matters rather than any wider social comment) and the game is effectively ceased? That's the breaking point? Seems crackers. Does anyone know what it actually said? Is it anywhere in that video?

Protests against Hoffenheim's President:

https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/51690403

Billionaire Hopp is a divisive character in German football, having bankrolled Hoffenheim up from the fifth tier to the Bundesliga between 2000 and 2008.

In 2015, Hopp was allowed to take a majority voting share - one of three exceptions to the 50+1 rule which means members must own more than half the shares in their club.
