Him & Leicester fit like a glove. Manager and club are near the best of the 'non-elite'. Their transfer policy is spot on and what Ashley should have done here. They sell their best players but go and spend £20-30m on a replacement and another first team player. Jealous of them.

He's excellent at signing players and bringing youth through to the first team. Signed Coutinho and Suarez at Liverpool and brought along Sterling.

Now at Leicester has signed Maddison, Barnes, Tielemans, Praet and now Castagne has also made use of some of their youth well too.

Were so far behind them as a club now it's untrue.

Pretty sure he didn't sign Suarez

He signed Coutinho.

Nice edit.

Dalglish signed Suarez.

My mistake meant Sturridge and Coutinho, who he both signed.

He didn't sign Maddison or Barnes at Leicester either

Indeed! Both came in under Claude Puel. I stand corrected.

Brendan has still done a great job with them though as young players.

It's all very depressing.

Barnes has always been with Leicester. Barely played at all under Puel and wasn't signed by him

Ah, okay. Amazing how he's coming along really. Looks an exciting prospect.

There aren't that many bad teams this season TBH. Even people like Southampton have improved quite a lot.

I enjoy watching them.

Think the only dross in there is WBA, Fulham, Sheff Utd, Burnley & us.

+West Ham - I think they will go down this season with WBA and Fulham.

I was going to include them but I think they’ve got some talent in their team. Unlike Ashley too, I reckon if they’re in the relegation scrap after half a season they’ll sack their manager and they’ll be fine.

Brendan Rodgers is so impressive man.

Amazing how many thought he was a joke on here.

Who thought that?

Look it up.

Where? You must have a fair idea so help me out.

Just use the search button.

Recall him being called David Brent and the like on here.

He gives off a massive David Brent vibe, some of his quotes are hilarious.

There's why I don't lump West Ham in with the 5 I think are going to battle it out for relegation. Fabianski, Rice, Antonio, Bowen, etc...they've got some quality there.

I’m certain the games played in silence and in a training ground type scenario is what’s causing all these goals and crazy results. Well that and VAR

Yeah I agree with that. Scores seemed more 'normal' after lockdown but there were teams playing for European positions, survival, etc. This season we're so early into it I think a lot of teams are more open and going for it. As the season progress and teams know where they are and what they're playing for, I think it'll start to decrease again.
