On one hand they're trying to claim that Danny Rose having the ball blasted at his arm from 3 yards is a penalty, because if you watch it in slow motion it apparently looks deliberate. On the other hand Fernandinho didn't mean to go out of his way to elbow Kane in the back of the head then try and stand up with his hand on Kane's head. It's just part of the game! It only looks like a straight red card for violet conduct because you're watching it in slow motion! Guardiola is not a good manager in the CL Got it badly wrong tonight like. With the quality of Bernardo missing and the other options they have to come in, for him to play Mahrez, Delph & Gundogan without bringing in Sane or KDB from the start or earlier in the game made them look toothless. Mahrez is nowhere near the player he was for that one season, and Gundogan is never going to offer the same attacking quality as KDB against high level opposition. Of course they've a good squad and need to use it in this period particularly, but to miss out on an away goal could come back to haunt them, and now they will need to throw everything they have at Spurs in an already busy period.
