As long as they’re not going to advertise tickets for the Asia Cup, STs, merchandise or anything else they’ve got links to then, no, fine. It’s basic comms. It’s amateur. Imagine the reaction if they put out something like we’re in talks and it doesn’t happen? It’d be the club who get the blame. They’ll be happy to let it play out as it is with them making all the noises. They might be happy. But it’s shit. Communications for the 12 years of Ashley’s ownership have been shambolic. As someone posted on Twitter earlier, they’ve apparently sold 50 tickets for the Asia Cup - there’s no advice on the website offering information or advice about visas, travel etc. Yet Wolves have included all that. The only reason I feel this saga has any legitimacy is the club’s lack of communication. No quarters for any of the payphones and all the media outlets deny the charges on collect calls. If they were what would be the point? Because of the absolute s*** from journalists and wannabe twitter ITKs over the last 72 hours they feel they have to come out as their reputation has been questioned. Look they have stated Ashley has agreed and signed off the takeover and it's in the hands of the league. One side appears to be doing all the running and noise making, until Fatboy gets 'frustrated' and pulls the plug with 'Timewasters'. Remember, Staveley showed Caulkin the bids she'd submitted, but MA/the club claimed no bids were made. Lets hope this latest statement prompts some sort of official response from MA's side, so we can either get on the bandwagon, or hoy wa'sells in the Tyne.
