Joelinton: will not play against Everton (Howe)

Recommended Posts

Love this mental theory that Rafa Benitez doesn’t like young player you can sell on

Rafa signed Koulibaly at 22 for £7m now worth £100million on his own.

Rafa signed Jorginho at 22 for £8m now worth £50million.

Also played a big part in coaching Longstaff into a potential £50million player.

The work Rafa did on Longstaff out of possession doesn’t get enough credit on his value.

Afternoon mrs Benitez

Weird as fuck this tbh.

No it's not, he's a very good player. Good at everything really; decent dribbler, good target man, eye for a pass, power, great work-rate.

40 million is a bit on the high side, but I really like him as a player and it's nice (all things considered) that we've finally made a move for the top target on our list for a change.

It really is, not only because we are spending £40m on an unknown player, but that no other club seems to be interested. If he was all that, you would have thought there would be plenty of competition for his signature. Not hard to see why people are seeing something fishy about it all.

Any idea why other clubs aren't in for him?

I don't think he's very good tbh

Only been bought to be sold, another Richarlison basically. The spiteful cunts.

Exactly this if he has a decent season and someone offers 60m next summer...bye bye job done guess who wins again

Some would argue that if he has a decent season it means we’ll probably be ok, which is enough for most fans these days.

Why do you lot suddenly fucking care about value though? For months it's been "doesn't matter what we get for them"

I think people just find it weird. It's not Ashley. Nor does it seem sensitive in terms of our general recruitment. We need quite a few good players. How does this deal effect that?

Anything doesn't mean shit in the end though. It's still Sports Direct United.

40 million does not equal a few season tickets like.

Ashley's thick as fuck and I doubt maths is his strong point though.

I'm saying a section of our fan base will be fickle enough to jump straight back in now that we've paid £40m for one player who's going to wear the #9 shirt.
