By the metric of "last season g/a", Howe should be starting Trippier every single game today, and he can't be sold to anyone. You understand it yourself, you just pretend not to. You could see Willock on at least two occasions losing his rag as he wanted to play a ball through but had to delay it and eventually lose it because CW was clearly beyond the last man. It would be so typical if two years after our last cup final, we had to go into another one with a chronically out of sorts Wilson leading the line. Say your prayers that Isak is healthy for it.
